The service was sloppy, slow, arrogant, rude, and all around a terrible experience. We hired him to paint our deck, he worked four or five hours per day. The overall quality of his work is uneven, sloppy, and incomplete. After completing the work, he demands payment before the paint has dried. Avoid painting or sanding certain areas. When challenged, his rudeness and misogyny come out in volumes.

"Unfortunately, Robert is not telling the truth, he is mad and taken to this web site because he lost in small claims court. The judge ruled in my favor over the case. Do not always believe what you read. I am now going to file a slander case against Mr. [Consumer Name Removed]. Thank you Mr. [Consumer Name Removed]for posting this. You are digging yourself into a hole. All of you can look up on the small claims district 3 of Westchester the case. Carter Painting vs Robert [Consumer Name Removed]. The court dat was July 24th 2024 for reference to finding the judgement awarded to Carter Painting."

Cater was very responsive, professional, and reliable! He did exactly what we told him to do and always told us to be upfront about what we wanted or did not want. We also thought he was very fair in pricing compared to other painters we have worked with. We will definitely be hiring him again for future jobs!

Powerwashing
The house washing was the cleanest one could imagine. I was amazed at how good the exterior of our house looked. The work results show that carter knows well the word "Professional".

Everything appeared good until it was not. Seemed like a nice guy with good communication. However, he did not finish the job. After the first coat, the color was off. He wanted the painting company or me to pay him $339 extra compensation (full day labor plus ladder rental). Had contracted for 2 coats. All I wanted to be was for him to put the second coat on with the correct color and clean up. Was ok paying his additional expenses, but not additional labor as there was none. Both the painting company and I refused his request, he left job unfinished, with many paint speckles on the roof (no drop cloth used). He also left my hose on with sprayer end, and after three days it burst. No biggie, but you see the pattern.

"There are always two sides to dialogue. Unfortunately, Michael left out some other facts. I rented a ladder which I fully intended to pay for while doing the job. while doing the job Michael decided to go on the ladder and pull off the bottom part of the window frame and replacing it with new wood that he cut with his saw. An hour later doing this he told me I would be compensated at the end of the job. he then decided to continue replacing another part on the house. telling me again he would compensate me at the end of the job. I calked his windows and areas that needed it. after applying the first coat of stain he realized it was wrong. he"
