The owner was awesome UNTIL HE GOT THE DEPOSIT. After that, when he made appointments to show up, he failed to keep his word or his appointments. Before that, he tried to show sick with a respiratory infection (during the pandemic), asking if he could drop the tiles in our garage instead of transporting them to our back patio (basically implying that he was doing us a favor, even though we agreed that HIS guys would move those heavy tiles to our back patio for storage). So, I said, - No thanks - because HE and HIS CREW were supposed to carry those heavy tiles, not us. Strike two was when he no-showed for an appointment mid-week. I contacted him AGAIN after strike two, and he apologized, saying he just forgot about our appointment. I had to chase him down AGAIN to reschedule AGAIN, and this time, I said, - Please dont make an appointment to come by unless you're SURE you plan to keep the appointment. As expected, he texted me on the day he was SURE he could come by, saying he had a flat tire and that he would be late. About SEVEN HOURS LATER (no kidding), he still hadnt shown up (nor had he cancelled). He just left me hanging. Was he coming? Was he not coming? Did he REALLY have a flat tire? I didnt know. By 8pm that night, I texted him again, saying, - This is approaching deal-breaker status. Are you coming or not? - ; From then on, he ghosted me and now he has even blocked my calls. He even failed to respond to HomeAdvisor when they first contacted him about it. I had to call Home Advisor three times, and, now, theyre finally escalating this to a formal complaint.

I had vinyl plank flooring installed by Carter Wood Flooring, and extremely glad I did. Large living area, two bedrooms, hall and a loft. It turned out fantastic! I highly recommend Carter Wood Flooring very professional. I also got a pleasant surprise in my kitchen when my old baseboard was replaced by new baseboard that was left over and now the lower level of my home matches up great. Selecting the flooring was very easy as I was presented with many samples of high quality vinyl planks. Carter then orders it’s and it’s shipped to the jobs location. Very easy process. At some point I will swap out the kitchen ceramic floor tile with vinyl plank and I won’t hesitate to contact Carter. A

We called, had an estimate, were scheduled and project completed in less than 4 days. The only dings is a few small problems were missed on initial completion but were taken care of before final payment.

He did an excellent job and is a great communicator. That was important because we live out of state and he was working on my rent house. He coordinated well with the renter and me; and recommended a good place for us to buy the flooring. Everything was exactly as scheduled. No delays. I would hire him again.

Price was a little high. Was not thrilled with reinstall but basically it was good. Worried about the way they handled payments. Told them not to lift antique dresser by the top but did anyway and pulled top loose. Now I have to pay to have that repaired.

Ryan was very easy to work with. Scheduled the work several months in advance. He was good about making sure all prep work was done prior to the appointment - ordering materials and such. On the day of the work he arrived on time and was finished within the day. He was very professional, courteous, and the quality of the work was excellent.

I had some problems with timing

Ryan and his crew were always on time and had great communication. They got right to work and always discussed with us anything they discovered while doing demo/installation. Finished flooring looks great!

Ryan came out on a Sunday to give us an estimate and the job was done by Wednesday.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Carter Wood Flooring.

Great customer service and support in planning, obtaining materials and installation. The installer even worked beyond his regular hours at no extra charge to complete the project on time. This was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Wonderful experience.

They were excellent through the entire install. The install went a little longer than planned but the work was excellent. Ryan made sure to take care of all the details to make sure we were happy.

Team worked well, did a good job, and cleanup was good

We have had 4 differant floor contractors complete different projects in our home. Carter Wood Flooring is Probably the most professional, honest, and timely contractors I have worked with. Kept in contact with me through out the project. Even finished another flooring project not finished from the first flooring job we had completed. Will hire for our other flooring projects.
