Jon came in, emptied a pipe onto my floor (!) and told me I needed to hire a different plumber. He then charged me $130, told me 'good luck' and left.

"After taking the piping apart and testing the pump I determined that the customer's sump pump was working fine. The problem was that the drain pipe buried out in the yard was frozen. I recommended a drain cleaning company because we do not clean drain pipes. Most plumbers in Grand Rapids do not do drain cleaning. Including Godwin Plumbing, it's a specialized service."

plumber called and asked if he could come early as he had another appointment in the area, so I accommodated his request and changed my plans. He was here about 15 minutes and couldn't identify my problem, but still charged me $82.00. I was a little apprehensive about hiring a plumber coming from Cascade over to Spring Lake to do business, but was assured it was common by office staff. ... and he had another appt. over here. Very disappointed that he gave up on my issue after 15 mintues and still charged me $82.00. ... ridiculous and won't be using Home Advisor or Cascade plumbing again.
