I put in the request with HomeAdviser at 8 am on a Thursday, not because my water heater had failed but because it was failing. I was not in a hurry but the company called me within 5 minutes of my post and said that they would be able to come that morning or afternoon. Mind you, this company is an hour from my home; we live in a rural area. Anyway, since I wasn't in such a hurry I said it would be fine to come the next day which they were able to do. I told them I wanted a 40 gallon water heater but when the installer arrived he only had a 50 gallon model on the truck. I thought that it might be a bait and switch but they only charged my additional 50 dollars for the larger tank. With the energy efficiency of the new unit I am paying less for this one in gas than my old 40 gallon model and when I sell the home someday the owner might have 5 kids and appreciate the larger tank. The installers were fast and clean. The device is super hot and I needed to turn it down from the initial setting. I thought that any company that responds this fast might be having trouble finding work but I don't think that is the case. They seem to specialize in residential water heater installs and are staffed to respond really fast in case you are suddenly taking cold showers. I'd use them again for sure. My only problem was them delivering the wrong unit but in retrospect it worked out fine.
