The work was fine. It was the cost of $419 an hour (which includes two hours for travel) to complete a four hour job. I paid $3,125 for a four-hour job. When I spoke to the owner, he had an answer for everything. I found him vile, but the job done was a good one.

The plumbers did a good job. They understood what needed to be done as far as removing the tub and fixing the leak, and provided an estimate before they left. The faucet replacement went smoothly. They explained that some parts I provided - the tubing for the faucet- could not be guaranteed by them, since they did not provide it, and they also have had some bad experience with the quick connectors popping off under pressure. I agreed to go with their parts, but then they found that the parts they had would not fit. They put on the parts I provided, in order to get the job done, and said they would provide their parts when they returned for the tub work. This seemed reasonable to me.

Replacing the aging copper pipe in my home has been on my to-do list. I had, on a previous visit by Casco plumbing, discussed the options for repair with Matt. Leaks popped up at 2 different times during the first 2 weeks of July 2018. The first leak appeared and Jason and Mark came to the house and did a great job repairing that leak. When the second leak appeared Matt and Mark responded and at that time, after consulting with Matt again, did a complete overhall of my upstairs plumbing. I highly recommended Casco Plumbing!! I was having major water issues in my basement, lawn, and drive way during latest torrential rains. I feared my outdoor sump pump system had failed. I called late afternoon on Saturday, and Matt Dougherty was at my door within an hour. He examined both of the sump pump systems (which were working fine), dug in the dirt and standing water in search of drain pipes and exits, snaked drain pipes, and treaded the cold water. Matt explained to me what was going on and what I could do to help deal with Mother Nature and survive this crazy weather. Understanding what was going on helped me immensely. Matt was a true professional and clearly an expert in his field. Matt and Caso Plumbing are on my call list for any future problems and to recommend to friends and work colleagues!

He told me that all we had to do is run water in the tub and sink about once a week and it would solve the problem. Apparently, the 'ring trap' is also there to keep gases from seeping into the house. He was honest and respectful and, because of that, I would hire them again.

I set up an appointment for the next morning and received a text when they were on their way. Kenny & Robert arrived on time (with a remarkably well-equipped truck) and fairly quickly isolated the area that was clogged. They cleared the clog, then ran a camera through that section & adjacent sections of pipe (to be thorough) and identified the source of the problem - a cracked pipe. All in all, I am extremely impressed by every aspect of this company, the quality & professionalism, their policies & follow-through, even their trucks.

I called at least three other companies. All within $100. in estimates. One plumber recommended a water heater booster because of the smaller 50 gallon heaters available now. I was replacing a 65 gallon heater and when I mentioned this the Casto rep agreed it would help considering the size of my family. He explained the process and answered all of my 'dumb' questions in a polite and understandable manner. After reading the reviews again for the estimates I received I went with Casco. I am glad I did...the following Monday they came in and in about three hours we had a new water heater. The 10 percent discount for Angies Lists members helped bring down the cost to of the the heaters with the booster compared to the other estimates which did not include the booster. We are happy with Casco and I would definitely recommend them.

Even after a few difficulties that were not the fault of Casco, Casey made sure we were well cared for. Kenny, our technician, was professional, personable, efficient, and left the area cleaner than he found it. They worked on a tight time schedule with many of our relatives on their way to visit for the holidays. While in our home, he also noticed and cautioned us about an issue that could arise from an unrelated pooling of water we hadn't seen. As a first-time homeowner, I am grateful to have found a plumbing company I can count on.

Casco is the company that cares about it's customers. Their plumbers do an expert and professional job every time, and take the time to complete each installation with obvious attention to every detail. Costs are fair and reasonable for the level of expert service provided that even someone like me on a fixed income can afford. I have used the newly installed bathroom for several weeks now and all of the fixtures and appliances work beautifully!! This is not the first time Casco plumbing has come to service my home plumbing needs, and I will continue to prefer Casco plumbing company in the future.

My experience was very positive. I called Casco to set up an appointment on Thursday and they were at my house the following Tuesday. It seemed a touch pricey, but the workmanship is quality and Matt was great to work with.

Well the beginning amount you pay is just for the service call. The guy who came out said everyone always thinks that amount is for the whole job but it isn't. So I got charged for an additional amount to flush my water heater. He did replace the flute and put on a pvc pipe that runs down to the floor. After the guy left. I still saw water. He never tightened the other flute that lets you drain your water heater. So I ended up tighting it and I think man I paid a little bit over but hey the leak has stop. Nope. A few days later I see water coming from the pipe that he never screwed in. The only thing that was holding the pipe to the flute for the pressure release was the plumbers glue they put around the screw to seal the pipe. So I ended up having to go buy the glue and then screw it in properly. This guy supposedly had approx. 15 years of plumbing experience. After going back and fixing what went wrong I see now I could have easily done this myself. By simply turning off the water heater shutting off the water and then hooking a hose up and opening the bottom flute to drain it. While it was completely drained unscrew the pressure release flute and put in a new one. Hook up the pcv pipe and use plumbers glue. Turn system back on. You live and you learn. The only good thing was the guy found a leaking copper pipe and didn't charge me for tighting it. His recommendation was to have him cut the pipe and replace it for about $200 bucks extra. He also recommended I get an expansion tank for my water heater for another $250. My water heater is about 5 years old and will need to be to replace in 2 years they guy told me. You do the math on that. Pay $250 now and then in 2 years go buy another water heater and call us when you need it. Okay lol. My water does stay hot longer now. Way over priced for the quality of work.

It was Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I called Casco and there was a plumber at my door within the hour! Matt Dougherty spent many hours dealing with our old pipes and cleared the two blockages. He installed a new wax seal and phalange around our toilet. He cleaned up so well, it looked better than it had before we had the blockage. Matt was very professional and a very nice young man. I hope we don't have a future need for a plumber, but if we do, I will call Casco!

From my first telephone conversation with Casey at the office to the departure of Matt and Will at the end of the job, I could not have been more pleased with Casco Plumbing. I let Casey know that I had to leave by 11:00 to pick up my 4-year-old grandson for a Nationals game, and he assured me that would happen--it did. Both Matt and Will were delightful, working well together, explaining to me what they were doing, and patiently answering all of my questions. The faucet location backed up on a wall outlet inside the house, and Matt showed both expertise and experience in soldering the new faucet in behind it. I asked him to look at a couple of other things while he was there, and he made helpful suggestions. I will definitely have Casco back to do that work, and based on my experience I recommend the company without reservation for any plumbing job.

Everything went well. Service was done in a professional manner by a Plumber named Matt Dougherty. Matt was knowledgeable, his work was completed in a timely manner and the completed project looked great. He was very competent and experienced. We felt that Matt could handle any plumbing job put before him. We were very satisfied.

Joe was fantastic. The office scheduled my appointment for the same day and Joe showed up on time. He was professional and friendly. Fixed the toilet, repaired a couple of what turned out to be small issues with one shower. Previous company had said it would be a big job, but Joe was great and figured out a way to fix it without tearing the place apart. I will use them again and again. And I'll request Joe, can't go wrong if he shows up.

It went well. They were very honest. I informed them I had a home warranty and they didn't do the work that would be covered by my warranty.
