We submitted a request for a chimney inspection on a Sunday morning, within minutes Casteel Sweeps was able to schedule an appointment for later the same day. Daniel arrived right at the scheduled time, he inspected both our chimneys and was able to clean them both while he was here. The process was so simple, clean, and our fireplaces look great! Took the time to explain issues and provided options

Arrived an hour after our agreed upon time. All he could do was clean. Spent 20 minutes and charged $179.00.

We needed someone to come to look at our gas fireplace as the pilot light was not staying on and the fireplace would not ignite. When I was first contacted via telephone the lady was very nice and was able to get us on the schedule for the next day which was great being a possible ice storm was on its way. She informed me there would be no charge to come and look at the fireplace to figure out what was wrong. Well, when the guy showed up he was very cocky and treated us like we were idiots, he said we just did not know how to work our fireplace and he got it to light; he then charged us $75 (unfortunately he dealt with my wife and not myself). Now jump ahead two days and once again the pilot light will not stay lit and the fireplace will not ignite (and yes I know how to use my fireplace) so now I need to find an actual professional to come and repair what I believe is the thermocouple. I would never recommend these people to anyone!

Daniel has excellent customer service. He is very detailed in explaining what he sees as a problem. Quoted the cost and draws up a contract with sketch of area of work. He even took and texted pictures to me before and after the work was completed. Reasonable prices, excellent work.

Took a while but solved very difficult gas fireplace problem. Fireplace hasnâ t worked well for years with either wood or gas.. Casteel called inj ust last year. They changed things as needed until today gas log system working very well. Final cost seemed very fair to me.
