Absolutely do not use this company. My experience with Randy and his unorganized and lying self was so traumatizing I?m just now able to write this. We hired them in the June 2023 to convert the garage into a small apartment. He estimated a six week job. We fired him in November because we?d gone through 4 project managers, 3 electricians, and the plumbing was a whole nightmare in and of itself. They were only working at the house 2-3 days a week. Randy lied about having the permits for two months. I found out from the city planning office that he didn?t even begin to apply until August and repeatedly did things incorrectly. November 2023 arrived and they only had the outside walls up and half the inside walls and I was done. Six weeks turned into five months and we weren?t even half way through the project. We?d put $18,000 on a $32,000 quoted project. When we told Randy we were done, he worked up a new pricing showing he?d spent $2k over the deposit saying we owed him.

My elderly Mother lived by herself in San Antonio and in 2019, had flooding in her bathroom from the bathtub. Based on USAAâ s recommendation, we hired Randy from Catalano Enterprises to be the GC to get the bathtub fixed. I wished I wouldâ ve been more involved, but I remember my Mom constantly telling me that communication with Randy was challenging and things took much longer than expected to get fixed. Finally, the work completed (or so we thought) in late 2019 which included new fixtures on the bathtub. Fast forward four years to November of 2023 and my Mom is now selling her house. During inspection it was noted that the water stream coming from the hot side of the bathtub was coming out at a trickle. Mom never noticed because she is elderly and does not take baths. We had a plumber come out to assess the situation, and to our surprise, was told by this plumber that the wrong type of fixtures were installed in the bathtub (they were fixtures intended for a sink, not a bathtub), and that was why the water came out at a trickle. I personally left five messages for anyone at Catalano to call me back to get help with the situation, but no one returned my calls. I also sent an email to Catalano that was returned with a message saying â Refusedâ . USAA tried contacting Catalano Enterprises multiple times via voice and email and no one returned their messages either. At least call us back to say that you were not going to correct what was done wrong in the first placeâ ¦ donâ t just ignore our messages. I would encourage people to read all the other reviews about this company, as it looks like this was not a one time event. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is the only remaining avenue to provide feedback since Catalano has yet to return one phone call or email since November 2023.

They were dishonest and provided very poor communication. I would not recommend them!
