Hired in July 2022, for a complete kitchen remodel to make my kitchen fully handicapped accessible for my 100 percent veteran husband who is in a wheelchair. They have taken $29,000 plus in deposit. All they have done is cash the check, design, and had a quote for cabinets, They never ordered them from JK Cabinets. Will not answer phone calls, emails, or certified letters. Do not use this company !! They are being investigated for fraud and theft. Victims Advocate of the sheriffs department has contacted me to file complaints with other agencies to include links for FBI investigations for fraud.

I would like you to be responsible and return my deposit.

Extremely upset with an incomplete service and I consider this a fraud

Went through catalyst to get our counter top slab from a wholesaler. gave catalyst the money to buy the slabs and they did not. They took the money and never called us back after two weeks of trying to call them to find out what was going on. After that, we heard from many other customers who had the same thing happen to them. Steal from Peter to pay Paul.

THEY HAVE NOT DONE WHAT THEY SUPPOST TO DO IT, THEY JUST TOOK THE MONEY.

Bowen showed up on time to give me a quote. Everything about their service from start to finish was a pleasure. The crew that showed up for installation was very respectful of our property and cleaned up when they were finished. I would highly recommend this company.

New Update: They only made 2 payments and have paid nothing the last 12 months, still owing us $10,700. Update: we are very thankful that catalyst has started making payments on the deposit refund. We realize it has been a hard couple of years during the pandemic and appreciate them making this right. On July 23, 2021, we met with and gave a deposit of $12,700 for new kitchen cabinets to co-owner of Catalyst Tops. After waiting several months for the cabinets, when delivered on December 22, 2021, they were not the right color, unfortunately, catalyst ordered the wrong color. Of course, we were all frustrated. They offered to either custom-make or reorder the correct color cabinets. At the end of January he determined the best thing was to order the cabinets in the color they we supposed to be and they would be in mid to the end of March. Called them in March, and got a runaround, cabinets were never ordered. The owner asked if we wanted our deposit back, which we did. They never ordered the right color for us in January, they just strung us along all the while still holding our $12,700. Since March there has been very little contact, they changed some of their phone numbers and do not return messages we are able to leave. They have said they will pay us back to put us off for a while, then never do. They have used the excuse they are trying to sell products from our project to pay us, THAT IS THEIR FAULT AND NOT OUR PROBLEM. They ordered the wrong cabinets, did not reorder when they said they did, and still have our money. Meanwhile, we were living with cement floors, since cabinets need to be in before the new floor. We had to find a new contractor for the cabinets which ended up costing us thousands more since prices increased in the year we had been strung along by Catalyst, had to find a way to complete the started project and come up with another large deposit. We have been patient and given them months to do the right thing. So disappointed and frustrated that I trusted them.

They did a very good job and our countertops are beautiful

I am very happy with the quality of the work on my countertops and back splash.

The options for answers is very restricting making it very difficult to answer. We had an issue they ended up having to make a cut on our counter out in the street and they damage the corner also appears that there is a little bit of damage from transport and they also did not honor some of our request during the estimate. One of which was where we wanted the seam they wanted to put it in a very obvious spot and when we put our foot down we found out they did not order enough counter for us to do what we wanted and we had to wait for them to get more. The woman that called us was very nice the gentleman that came out that is their salesman/owner was very nice and the gentleman that came to put the counter in only one spoke English cannot communicate with the others and I contacted them and asked them what they could do about the damage and they never answered me or responded to me in anyway so I made it once in a lifetime $5200 purchase on my counters and I have to live with their oops. They also came 4 1/2 hours late with no phone call I guess everybodys battery died sarcasm they were supposed to come at noon came at 4:30 at our house way too late and we did not get fresh workers by any means they were tired .So it was going great I felt real good about it using them somebody I had never heard of but was so disappointed when they drop the ball to do it again I would pay a little more and go with a big company.

I had a bad experience with this company. If you hire them, take extra care and make sure that you get EVERYTHING in writing. That should hopefully help make sure you do not go through what I went through.

We had a lot of issues. -The initial sales rep Johnny had to come out twice because he forgot his iPad. The second time he left his granite sample at the house. -we paid our deposit and then heard nothing for days until WE called. -their plumber was unavailable and they told us this the day before our installation. We were told during our initial visit that they had a plumber and they would do all the setup to bring him out after the installation. -we had to cancel the install due to us getting Covid. I told them we would call and reschedule. Grace their scheduler called us the day before they had it on their calendar to come back out, they put down a new date without confirming with me. Also again they had no plumber for us. - They completely sheared one of our pipes to the point that we had to pay $900 in plumbing costs and had no water for two days in our kitchen. It is laid out in the contract that they are not responsible for any plumbing damage but they completely wrecked our plumbing. The finished job looks good but the whole process was a headache. Communication is the number 1 complaint I have. When you are spending a few thousand on investment I should not be pulling my hair out trying to communicate throughout the process.

Beautiful product, but disappointed that there was not a post inspection on overall work.

Lisa was amazing, bought the granite from pictures of the samples she emailed me, turned out to be perfect for the bathroom renovation I was doing, not to mention the price was great.

Bowen, one of the owners gave us a bid. WIthin a week all work was copleted as promised. Outstanding company with outstanding relations with their contractors. We are very pleased.
