Heath Cathcings is a great contractor! He worked with me every step during our 2 bathroom remodel project ! My bathrooms are now gorgeous! So much so that I signed a contract with him to install hardwood floors and remodel my kitchen.

Contracted Heath for a major basement remodel in a multi-generational home which was completed in 6 months despite COVID-19 restrictions and shipping delays of material and fixtures. Heath was able to follow my floor plan to renovate an awkwardly finished basement with structural limitations and turn it into a quasi apartment that met building codes. The renovation includes cork flooring throughout, an ADA compliant 1 bedroom en suite with heated tiled flooring, curbless tiled shower and toilet/bidet both with grab bars; a tiled 1/2 bath - laundry with toilet/bidet; open living room/dining room/kitchen multi-use space with a Heath designed table top that folds away into an IKEA cabinet; an office with a storage loft; and a gym with an attached deck. All construction was completed without COVID-19 contraction, cost overages and overly prolonged delays. Heath has a lot of construction experience and savvy; he is meticulous to detail, and used these qualities to improve my design goals to create a living space that would accommodate our physical needs as we age. In my professional life, I have had to hire general contractors for major construction projects. Heath has been the most honest, detailed general contractor I have ever hired. He used workers and subs that performed at his high standard and he personally made sure their job was done right and timely. He maintained communication with me throughout the project and all revision decisions were made mutually while staying within budget. Should there be a need to hire a general contractor again, we will hire Heath but we expect that he will be in high demand and we may have to get in line.

Very happy with the results. We built a new wall with barn doors in our upstairs landing area. Heath was very professional and COVID respectful. Would for sure recommend.

Contracted Heath to convert regular Tub shower to full roll in curbless tile shower. Also found dry rot which he expertley repaired and the floor was completely tiled to join the shower. Lighting, Venting and ADA grab handles were mounted to complete the remodel. If you are looking for a skilled professional with strong business ethics Then Heath Catchings is the one.

I can only give 4 stars because we had some issues with the installation of plumbing and some cracks in the seams of tile edges. Heath came out and solved the tile issue, but the plumbing issue can not be solved.I did ask for ADA compliance as I bought an ADA compliant bathtub for the install and explained what I needed, however the plumber did not take into consideration a person sitting on a bath chair and the need to reach the handheld shower head. The existing pipework behind the wall needed to be lowered.I purchased a handheld slidebar and it was discussed that it should be installed low enough for a person to reach from a seated position. Plumbing was not set as discussed. By the time I noticed the issue tile work had already commenced and it was too late. All the plumber had time for was to complain about the Kholer tub and fixtures I had chosen.

Takes a little more time but more than worth the wait.
