Holiday Lighting Add or Remove

Ryan never completed the job I paid him for. I very much regret paying the full amount before I was satisfied. My husband actually finished the job we paid Ryan to do. He was full of promises and kept saying he'd do the work. Each time he came out there were still things left undone. For example, I'm still missing the some of the landscaping rocks he was using to line the beds. Also, he didn't dig up the weeds, etc growing in the beds. He basically used the weedeater and then threw a bunch of mulch on top of it. He never did any edging either. He couldn't finish the job but kept pressuring me to give him more of the work I needed done. I paid Ryan $3k for a job on our commercial property and very much regret it. Now I have to go pay someone to fix the work.

"Dear valued customer this is the owner of cedar works. I am sorry for you being unsatisfied with the work my company did for you. As for the work I was their everyday to complete the work and do a lot of extra work that was not in the contract. We mowed and maintained the property for the entire month of September for free. Every time we showed up to do the yard maintenance things were added to the job such as extra beds to make up as well as mulch and rock. With regards to cleaning of beds I scalped beds out sprayed weed killer as well as preened the beds and then laid mulch. With regards to payment my company lost money on your job do to add"

Ryan was very knowledgeable about plants and landscaping ideas. I wanted a quick, inexpensive makeover to get my house ready to sell. He gave me great options, kept in contact with me every step of the way and finished the project quickly. He also maintained my yard while it was on the market.

Was hired back in 2021 to do a remodel of the existing landscaping. Many of the plants came throughout the year due to a freeze. Never received all of the plants that were fully paid for with one excuse after another. Was told that he would get them this spring and put in. Still nothing. Spoke on the phone March 30th and was told he would get it taken care of in 1-2 weeks. Sent a message on April 12th and nothing. Beware of payment in full until 100% completion. I was told he needed the funds to secure the materials. This has been a year long headache to complete this project.

We hired Cedar Works and Outdoors to remove 4 large trees from our back yard that were too close to our house. Ryan was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable, communicates very well, and was always on time (which is far more than I can say for several competitors we had quote)â ¦ he was able to give us great advise for future project and even talked us out of a few things. His prices are great and he completed the job as advertised. I would highly recommend Cedar Works and Outdoors as we plan to use them for all our future landscaping needs.

The scope of work included spreading topsoil, installing trees and garden, and sod installation. This was a landscape project for my new pool. Ryan is very knowledge and a hard worker and when completed my back yard and pool landscape looked exactly as I had envisioned it. I have already hired him for another outdoor project.

It began well (March 20, 2021). He had a vision for what I needed and I submitted to it. Long story short, he did 75% of the work and I did not hear from him until I texted him 2 weeks after he did the initial work. Told me that due to all the rain we had, he could not get grass to complete my project (there was also a small tree that was supposed to be planted). I said okay. Anyway, I told him in June (3 months later) to just keep the rest of the money and that I will finish the job myself. After that, he told me via text that he could finally finish the job due to all the rain we had. I said that it would be good if he could, and if not, fine. Great person, big heart. But he did not finish what he started and it was always me that reached out to get a conversation started about project progress.

Ryan did a good job on the grass but the shrubs died within 1 month of planting. He guaranteed them for 1 year. He made promise after promise to come out and fix and he replaced the original shrubs with ones that look much better in size and color.

Landscape Soil, Sand, Mulch and Rock Delivery
Ryan started out great and then quickly started making excuses about personal issues and the weather. After several weeks, he finally made some progress but that was short-lived as the performance was completely amateur. The job was not done well at all, he used potting soil to lay my sod, for instance. He did not clean any beds before mulching them. They threw mulch in the beds with their hands and there are piles and mounds everywhere. There was not one area that was completed to my liking. It looked like a teenager did it all. He bought small one-gallon plants instead of what we agreed upon. My property still has not been serviced even once since I hired him. He said I only had to give him half the money upfront but then proceeded to request three-quarters of it ($5250), which I paid. Then he asked for the rest even though he was not finished. I will never get that money back and I have had to pay an actual professional to redo everything. I am wondering if his other reviews are even real since my experience was totally the opposite of everyone elses.

"Mrs. Harrison responding to your review. The personal issue was to keep custody of my niece in which you said was not important to you. My family is very important to me. my company has never put the potting mix in for sod install. all the plants that were installed were 5 gallons and bigger I have receipts to prove it to you. we were not finished with the job do to waiting on your tree company to take down trees before we install grass and mulch where the trees were coming down. I have been in contact with you for the last 3 weeks asking if trees were done so we could finish our job. We agreed to wait for trees to be out before we installed sod."
