Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
$12,000
I had the pleasure of working with Dave for a custom window installation in my condo, and I couldn't be more impressed with his work. From start to finish, Dave was extremely professional, offering a great price for the job while maintaining clear and open communication. What really stood out was his attention to detail – he made sure everything was perfectly aligned and took the time to ensure the final product was flawless. The custom window looks fantastic, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Dave for any project and will definitely be reaching out to him again in the future!

Bathroom - Remodel
$6,600
Do not do business with this company. We had to have a bathtub replaced, and he was hired to do that and remove a heat register and replace/repair surrounding floor and wall tile around the bathtub. When he got here he talked me into replacing the flooring, painting the walls and replacing the toilet. He installed the flooring over existing ceramic tile, making the floor about a half an inch higher than it was originally, which in turn caused the replaced toilet bowl to leak because it was not aligned with the old position of the gasket. Our toilet leaked, the bathtub leaked because his plumber did not tighten the pipes underneath in the basement. The new three-piece surround to the bathtub was not replaced evenly, causing one side to be about a half an inch higher than the other. As a result of the new floor being higher, he needed to place a threshold, and realized, too late, the now our pocket door would not close due to the higher floor. So instead of removing the pocket door and cutting properly, he left it hanging in place and in the process accidentally cut the surrounding door molding, as well as now the pocket door was about a half an inch higher on one side, causing it not to close properly. Now we have to replace the pocket door. When he installed the new recessed medicine chest, he accidentally cut a hole in the adjoining wall between our two bathrooms. The new molding was extremely sloppy, with spackle all over the walls and tiles, and the spackle was not even smoothed out to look good. Then when he abutted the new flooring up against the vanity (instead of removing the vanity and placing the floor under it) he put up molding all along the perimeter of the vanity in a very sloppy way, not even bringing it all the way across to make it look good. So we now had to replace the vanity because of that. When he painted the walls he got paint all over the ceiling, the surround tiles, and the new bathtub. Unbelievable. Please do not use Celtic Home Improvement. They do a good job of representing themselves through photos as being a professional company, but they are anything but. I now have to bring a Small Claims against them.
