My husband and I hired this company to heat treat our house to get rid of bed bugs. The main negative was poor communication about the amount it would cost. They charged us $1,000 more than they originally projected. They had communicated that we would not need to pay for the entire house to be heat treated- only the rooms that were likely affected. The price seemed fair under those parameters. However, when we received our bill, they charged us for the WHOLE square footage of our house. They definitely did treat most of the house, but not all of it. Additionally, this was not what was communicated to us initially, so I was very shocked by the charge. Just be aware that they will charge you for your whole house, and if you arenâ t okay with that, choose another company. They were incredibly responsive and even took time to stop by the day we called to chat and set up a time to come back for the heat treatment. I was very happy with the process and the thoroughness of their work.

I hired COBE through Home Advisor back in May to address an infestation of birds I had in the soffit of the bedroom roof. They charged me $399+ tax for the service and took my credit card on the spot at the time of the estimate, before the service was performed. I was not comfortable with that, but let it go. The technician came out multiple times in June and July but failed to address the concern. I told him exactly where the infestation was, but he claimed he couldn't find it. He put a small, ineffective patch on a gap in the trim, but it did not impede the entry and exit of the birds into the soffit. On one of the trips, he went up into the main attic and thought it was mice - when I clearly said it was a larger animal that made a lot of noise every night. There was so much noise coming from the soffit, some nights it was difficult to sleep. Finally I brought in a general contractor on August 2nd and had him tear the soffit apart. He found the entire length of about 15â was packed solid with straw and other kinds of debris. In there he found the bird, which had recently died. I contacted Justin to complain about the poor troubleshooting. He apologized and offered to refund the entire amount. He said they would use it as a training opportunity for their technicians. I asked if he could just issue a credit to my card, but he said that wasn't possible due to complications with their credit card processing system from Chase, so they would send me a check. I contacted him nine times from Aug 2 - Nov 1 and he replied to just three of those messages. The check was always "in the mail" but I never received it. The last story I got was the owner had a personal tragedy at the end of July and was scaling down the operation and doesn't want to do this business anymore. Everyone had been let go as of mid October, but Justin was still helping close down the business, so he offered to personally bring my claim to the owner and ask him to do the right thing and issue a refund. I never heard from him again, yet COBE' s website is still live and they are still listed on Home Advisor. Justin and the technician were always polite and courteous to the very end but finally they never delivered on any of their promises, neither the service I hired them to perform, nor the refund.

Promised to catch a skunk and then install mesh under deck area to prevent another animal issue last summer. Never caught a skunk. Never returned to prepare deck. Avoided all calls and messages. Skunk is back. Paid $450 in advance.

Excellent service and very friendly and professional

I hired this company back in March of 2019 to come out and remove what I thought was a wasp nest in my bathroom exhaust vent to the outside of my home. It wasn't. It was some type of sweat bee nest that wasn't active, thank goodness. The gentleman who came out was courteous and looked to take care of the problem with what seemed to me to be very little effort, except for having to go up into my attic and face whatever dangers that entailed. I was told that at a future date, they would return to my home to place some type of mesh over the the dryer vent underneath the current vent to make sure that the problem of the wasps would not happen again. It is now the month of September and no one has contacted me about completing the job. Now, I noticed today that the covering that was over the vent has fallen off and is laying on the ground and now there is an open hole on the side of my home that they never placed the mesh over and obviously, the vent covering that was over it, which had never fallen off before someone from this company came to my home, won't stay over the opening. So, now, I guess I will have to call yet another company to make sure no creatures have decided to take up residence and to finish the job that I thought I was paying this company to complete.

He doesn't return my calls or reply to my text messages. I could've done the work they did myself. They charged me $430.00 and I could've done that myself. He explained all the things they would do over the phone and what day they would do it on. When they did show up to, asses, what they needed to do. He said they would call me back and set up and appt. to finish the service I payed for. They've never phoned me back or texted me or tried to communicate with me whatsoever, and they still have my $430 that they didn't do anything for. They basically took advantage of my generosity and robbed me.

This company was excellent! We are very pleased with the quick and thorough job that that did for us.

I can t say enough positive things about my experience with COBE. I received a call right away and they were at my house the same day with vole traps. They re a super friendly, knowledgeable, and customer focused team who truly care about their customers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
