Central Valley Landscaping

Central Valley Landscaping abandoned our project after taking 90% of the contract price and only completing about 50% of the work. We originally signed our contract in February of 2022 and work began in April with a completion date of September 2022. After 3 months, they started coming less and less and just offered more and more excuses. Eventually the owner told us that he spent all our money on capital equipment and he didn't have enough money to pay his workers or sub-contractors. He said that he really wanted to get our work done and gave us a new schedule with a completion date of early June. He had 1 worker show up 4 different times between January 1st and May 2nd, then abandoned the project completely and has his phone turned off for the last 3 weeks.

Gilbert told us our project would take three months. After a year, we are not even 20% done, and he has abandoned the project. He took 85% of all our money for the entire contract, and we now have no materials and are unable to contact him to complete the rest of the construction. I have seen many reviews on other sites with the same complaints about him. He does not return calls, and the work he has done will need to be redone as the quality is not good.

The quality, promptness and price were excellent. They friendly and courteous. I have a small dog and they were thoughtful to let know when they needed to open gate so she would not get out of the yard.

Gilbert (Central Valley Landscaping) did a wonderful job landscaping at my house. The quality was top notch and the crew was experienced and professional. Iâ d highly recommend. My new yard saves a lot of water with much less maintenance and my utility bills have decreased substantially. I have the nicest yard on my street and have Gilbert to thank for that.

CVL worked with me to design and install my backyard. A major project that included turf, boulders, mature trees, substantial cement work and bbq w island. They also built a fire pit and two large planters. The work Is quality and beautiful. I have enjoyed sharing my new space with neighbors, family and friends. All are impressed with the design.

This service Pro did not complete the job and had no communication skills, I am very disappointed with the company

Quality of the work is very well done and design is phenomenal, but the communication has been lacking and the process has taken approximately 7 months, my yard is completely torn up right now and I am looking for an status update but I am not receiving response and I have tried to reach numerous times so I am getting very concerned. They are very easy to work with when they respond, but my yard is at a point where its unacceptable.

At the time we hired Gilbert, he seemed enthusiastic and like a real go-getter. Once he started the work and throughout the project, he seemed like he did not really care about the work and proved to have very poor customer service.

No synthetic grass. Just landscaping in progress.

He explains his ideas in a graphic way so you can see; what he is going to do (also he creates an animated video about his project) and everything is made on time. We are very pleased with his work. Unfortunately, he has not reached out and we are unsure the irrigation job was done correctly.

They were working with a previously landscaped are and were able to incorporate the new landscaping into the existing area seamlessly. The team was very careful of the existing landscape and left the area very clean and free of installation debris, I would recommend this agency to anyone.

Gilbert listened to my requests, added his ideas and always picked up the phone when I called. This was a complete makeover with demo, tree removal, drip irrigation, plants, parking strip, flagstone pathways and a dry creek. The placement of the plants, artificial grass, pathways and rocks were spot on. He definitely has a landscaperâ s eye for detail and his crew executed his plan with their impressive skills. The men always arrived early and didnâ t leave at the end of a hard day without cleaning up the area. They were pleasant and respectful at all times. The end result is truly impressive. So much was accomplished and well ahead of schedule and everything delivered as stated. It far exceeded our expectations. A little bit delayed because the stones wasnâ t available but the project got completed

Very good work. Had a drainage problem in the backyard. They rerouted my drains and did a nice job. Replaced sod in the back and side yard , also an excellent job. Very reasonably priced.

Very professional and timely

Gilbert has great ideas for a draught tolerant landscape and responds very quickly. He and his crew is very professional and hard workers. The landscape looks better than I could of imagined. I was surprised that he was able to work in our budget. We had a dry creek riverbed installed, along with rocks between the sidewalk and street. A large variety of beautiful plants, drip irrigation with mulch was also installed.

Gilbert is phone call away. His work quality is excellent. He goes above and beyond .
