Moving with Century was a wonderful experience. They clearly explained how it would work, got all the information about my move (items, home type, preferred dates), and was able to give me a good time frame. He kept me updated and was able to accommodate any sudden issue that I might have had. The moving crew was observant, careful, strong, and efficient. I had packed almost all my own items, but they easily took care of the items that I could not. They carefully dismounted and packed my tv, collapsed my bed, wrapped and padded a giant cabinet, and retaped any of my items that needed it. They inspected the items before they moved them, letting me know of any defects or breaks that existed. They kept the efficiency and care at the new apartment, asking where things should go, placing them carefully, and setting up my bed. Altogether, CMS was straightforward, professional, and kind. I would definitely recommend them and will call them if I ever need to move again.

It's stressful to move but Century Moving made it very easy. The whole team was very professional and efficient. My furniture arrived with no problems or mishap. My stress went down. I will refer this moving company again and again.

They showed up (on a rainy day), packed everything up nice and secure, and it to a new location, and did not leave until they heard I was satisfied where everything was. I cannot thank Century Moving Services enough on their quick response on short notice to assist me in packing and moving. I contacted them and management responded immediately with an affordable estimate for their services. Miguel the foreman and his team of movers were efficient, clean, and packed my belongings neatly and well organized. I was recommended to them by a family member and definitely recommend his company to service your moving needs.

Where do I start? I had an urgent move that suddenly came up due to a job transfer. I searched the web for a moving company and couldnâ t get anyone to call back until I called Century Moving. My call was immediately answered by a professional office staff. I went over the details and told them the urgency. The lady in the office set me up with an appointment the same day. I received a call from their representative Zeek, he advised me that he could actually come out an hour earlier than schedule to look over my home and get me a quote. I was very thankful for his prompt service and more than fair quote. He gave me one on the spot. He supplied all of the boxes, bubble wrap, moving blankets and more importantly the professional labor to come to my home, work with my wife and I and pack our contents into boxes. They labeled them by room and similar item types. They provided wardrobe boxes. They promptly loaded all of our things into their trucks and left off to our new home. We stayed in a hotel overnight as they had to drive 10 hours to our new place. The following day we met up at our new home. While the kids played in the backyard on the swing set (we asked them to set this up first), my wife and I worked with their crew leader to go over which rooms were which. The crew worked to reassemble the furniture. And help us get our boxes to each room. They had a few extra people there that day as per our request to help us get the kitchen set up. Their guys worked around our cleaning crew and put everything away as my wife pointed and clicked (lol). Within 72 hours we were out of one home and into our new home. The staff went above and behind by breaking down all of the boxes, tied them up and placed them in our garage so we could recycle them. They put all the paper from wrapping glass items as well as the bubble wrap into garbage bags for us and offered to dump them at their dumpster. All in all, we could not be more impressed as this was our 3rd career oriented move of an entire family and this was the easiest of all. Without Zeek of Century Moving, this would have been a disaster. He is a master of what he does. From our family to yours, thank you for going the extra mile (well 578 miles to be exact) to make this as painless as possible. If we every need or anyone we know needs a moving crew, we will 1000% recommend you from coast to coast.

I hired Century to move me and my family from the western end of Pennsylvania to the eastern end of Illinois , my movers Nestor & Antwan were very professional and accommodated my move right after a snow/ice storm that hit the whole state of Pennsylvania. They done their job in a timely matter the only issue was when it was time to pay my card was declined due too a fluke which understandably make the company owner nervous but I got it paid, and all was good. The company honored the original quote they had given me before services was rendered. I would definitely use this company again and hopefully I could get Nestor and his as the movers, PS Nestor did an amazing job maneuvering the 28 feet truck on a hillside cover in ice/snow he is excellent driver.

We had Century Moving store a house full of furniture (including my treasured piano) for 9 months, and then deliver all of it to a new home in another state. We are so impressed with what the great conition all of our furniture, including the piano, was kept. Moreover, the moving of many heavy pieces off the truck and into our home was done with great care to ensure no damage to our furniture or our new home. On top of all that, they were a very nice crew. We don't ever want to make a move like this again, but if we did, we would definitely use Century Moving. Thanks!

I researched about 15 companies. The man I spoke to initially was very thorough. I felt confident in my choice. We were told to call/email within 3 days if you had more or less to move. If not the fee would be higher on that day (paying for extra things at a higher percentage). I emailed and called because when I booked more than a month before I did not know how much we would have. I was told not to worry. That day the Forman of the project( professional and honest) told me it would cost 3x the cost for moving and monthly storage. I appreciated his honesty l, but at that point, we had no choice. I called back to speak to the initial person to say I understand we have to pay more for the extra stuff we had but it should not have been at an increased rate since I read he would out ahead. Over a month later he has not called me back. The person in charge of dispatch and the Forman did try to help, but could not adjust it.The Forman did help us with some fees he could control.

DO NOT USE CENTURY MOVING SERVICES!! Do not ignore this review!! Century moving is nice and professional until they receive your money. No matter how much you communicate, you will incur issues and additional fees. There is a receptionist named Wendy who never knows what is going on. If you are lucky/unlucky, like me, someone else will answer in this case a guy name Zeek part owner will get on the phone and apologize for Wendy's behavior, only to not be available when things are not going right. You will get a call from a variety of important people within the company. They will not offer a resolution, but they will defend their personnel, talk over you, and give you unreasonable ultimatums. The company does not work on weekends or holidays. However, they wanted to deliver my property on July 4th, which is a Federal Holiday. The items I wanted to have moved were picked up on May 31st. I was told by the broker, and again by Wendy, there would be a quick turn around from 5 to 14 days for delivery once the items were picked up and say it will be 21 business day on their contract. I spoke to a broker, who gives a quote and collects a down payment prior to your belongings being picked up. That quote changes to a higher price once the driver arrives. At that time, you only have 72hrs to cancel the transaction if it does not work within YOUR timeline which you provided for the Company before they send anyone to begin packing/loading. This does NOT include weekdays and holidays. The end of May is Memorial Day Weekend (a holiday, which they already said they do not work!). Therefore, you really cannot cancel the transaction without a penalty or losing your down payment. The movers were nice, so we allowed them to load our items. After all, they were not the problem because they were willing to work with me despite what the major corporation verbally and contractually agreed upon. After all of this, I was told someone will call us the day our items are loaded and will get an estimated date of delivery. I explained our Active Duty Military status and told them I needed time to react to a projected delivery date. There was no communication whatsoever from Century movers about the packing, loading, or delivery date of my belongings without me taking the initiative to reach out on a weekly basis to receive any type of update. Now, all of a sudden, they are willing to make an exception and deliver our belongings on July 4th (a federal holiday which they told me they do NOT work). They are now doing us a favor by delivering our belongings on a day which they do NOT work, and if we are not available they will charge us $1,000 for overnight delivery. Or we have to pay for the time the items are in storage. In order to get our stuff, we have to pay for an additional vehicle to pick up our property in conjunction with paying for the storage and whatever remaining balance there is for a delivery that never happened. A move initially quoted at $1,700+ changed to $2,300+ once the drivers arrived. They added an additional $1,000 to re-deliver. Who knows what we will need to pay to finally get our stuff and move it on our own. Do not use this company!!! Please shop around. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!! Read the real reviews of the dissatisfied customers from this year and the previous years. People are not lying or disgruntled when they say this is not a trusted company. This franchise is all about the money, and once your initial down payment is taken, the price only goes up from there. I offered to come pick my stuff up myself. This entire ordeal has been a nightmare! At this moment, I still do not have my household goods and do not know when I will be able to get them! If you decide to do business with this franchise after reading this, you can only shake your head at yourself because you ignored the reality you have been scammed.
