Painters were subcontractors who rushed through the job leaving paint spatters all over white baseboards and wainscoting. Had to come back to cover walls they missed with second coat and then I still so placed I had to touch up. Told customer service about the issues but never received a call back.

I had hired someone to refinish my front door but they kept delaying the job. Finally I decided to find someone else to do the job. To my surprise CertaPro Painters came within one week of my call and did a very professional job on my stained hardwood front door. Dealing with them was painless. They were professional, well priced and timely. I recommend them.

CertaPro provided an estimate that was a little higher than the smaller firms, but I'm so glad we decided to go with CertaPro! We had a full exterior repaint quoted but it did not include the gutters or back porch. The project manager not only covered those items for us at the same quote, they also repaired and painted our mailbox to match the house. During the process we were informed daily of results and/or challenges and it felt like a solid partnership to ensure the job got done right with no surprises. The team was courteous (I have a wife and 3 daughters - I'm sensitive to that kind of thing) and our family felt safe with them around coming and going as needed. The end result was better than we had planned on and we would absolutely recommend CertaPro for exterior painting with no hesitation.

The prep work was poor. Caulking was really substandard and they painted over bird droppings instead of cleaning first. They poured mineral stain on the ground in our garden and poured paint into the downspout drain. Prep for varnish was substandard. They painted over loose paint instead of scraping or sanding first. The production manager was not interested in holding his team to a high standard and allowed the poor work. On the plus side, the guy that did the repairs did really good work.

They were supposed to bring a 40 foot ladder, scrape paint, power wash, and paint. They brought a shorter ladder, used extension poles to paint, could not get to it to scrape. Paint job was not as thorough using a roller brush with extension pole, versus bringing a 40 foot ladder and getting to the brick.

"I am so sorry that this customer is unhappy. As the owner of the company, I personally visited her to work things out. With that being said, we did a lot of FREE work for her, and she became upset when I asked her to stop asking our crew to paint or repair things that were not in her contract. I even offered to do extra work at our cost to help make her happy. We would have gladly painted everything she wanted, if she had been willing to pay for it. She specifically excluded certain items and then wanted them for free. I am not sure what else we could have done. My offer for providing work outside of what she contracted for for my cost still stands if she would like to rectify the situation. This is not an accurate depiction of how my company does business."

The owner Kelly Was quite helpful in immediately getting my appointment scheduled after another employee didn't follow up timely. The painter, Tonya was professional, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I will use Certa Pro again and will request Tonya and her team.

Took 2 mos to get on their schedule. First pass was a disaster - wrong color and very sloppy. However with one phone call, they very quickly sent someone to review the job. Stain color was re-mixed and matched beautifully. Sloppiness was minutely corrected. If I was only rating on the end result, it would have been 5 stars.
