For anyone who has completed this task or thinking of having this task completed, you know it is overwhelming. Sara and Kelly worked with us in preparing us and were in constant communication. They both checked on the progress over the days it took for their wonderful Felix to complete the ceilings. Felix was also in communication with us as far as the progress on a daily basis. The end result is fabulous!! We are so thankful for all their help.

Positive - Kelly is very easy to work with. Negative - I did not care for the paint company CertaPro uses. Even though the paint company claims to match the colors they do not match.

In June of this year CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro was hired to paint a small bedroom in our home, to include removal of the "popcorn" textured ceiling and installation of a "knockdown" textured ceiling in its place. A great many issues cropped up in the course of this project. Please see my complaint filed with the local office of the Better Business Bureau for a partial list. Suffice to say that this project was a complete and utter disaster right from the get-go, resulting in a couch of ours being covered in ceiling debris and paint. The incompetence of the crew that was sent out to perform the contract can only be described as stunning. Even the salesman/project manager and company owners were appalled at the work performed and openly stated so. The salesman/project manager subsequently marked several dozen areas of concern with red Post-it stickers. He would have marked more had he not run out of stickers. On August 10/11, seven and a half weeks later (!), CertaPro sent two different crews and, finally, did an adequate job on the walls and ceiling. The company owner replaced the electrical outlets (but not the switch) that had been painted over and the salesman/project manager spent a couple of hours cleaning up the woodwork. Shortly after the initial attempt at providing quality work CertaPro hired and sent a professional cleaner, twice, in an attempt to rectify the damage done to our couch. Both of these attempts failed to remove much of the ground in debris and paint. The end result is that the couch is permanently damaged and in need of new covering. There can be no question that CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro is responsible for the unresolved damage to our property. CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro has, indeed, acknowledged responsibility for the destruction of our couch and stated clearly that they would "take care of" the problem by means of arranging to have the couch reupholstered. They have now changed their tune after finding out what the remedy to the issue will cost. The original project could have been accomplished on June 20th by a crew performing to the set of professional standards the contractor claims to employ. Instead, two and a half months later, we have the remaining problem as an unresolved issue. CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro claims to be a professional business which deals with their customers in an honest, fair and ethical manner. They now have an opportunity to demonstrate that claim rather than just talk about it. Their "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" should not ring hollow. There are plenty of painting contractors in the area who employ competent crews and do quality work. CertaPro Southwest Metro is not one of them and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Please do yourself a favor and research further reviews and BBB complaints for yourself. The common denominators in regard to substandard work are there for all to see. My experience with this company is hardly an isolated one.

They worked with us to get the painting done when there was a time factor involved.

The scheduling and estimate was top-notch. However, the problem with this company seems to be communication, with the customer as well as with their own workers. The specifics didn't seem to get given to the guys actually doing the work. At first glance, everything looked very nice - good full coverage, no mess or spatters. However, when I walked around the house, I realized they didn't prep a lot of things - no woodpecker holes, or nail pops were treated/filled ahead of time, they spray painted over several things they shouldn't have (I've already replaced my outside faucet, scraped out the painted-over windows and I'm fixing the cable-guard). Not only was the instruction to replace a rotted board not given to the workers by the estimator, the workers completely missed that entire corner of my house. The company needs to clearly indicate their requirements as well: I have no external water or power available. I could have gotten that set up for them ahead of time if I'd known. I never knew when on the day the workers would show up to work and when they considered themselves done. They just abruptly left - I was home and could have walked through the job and showed them the problems immediately. They'd also left their ladder that day, so I'm not sure if they knew they were coming back or not. After waiting a bit to see if they were coming back, I called the company about the issues. The worker did come back and finish the incomplete job, hammered in the popped out nails (which then broke the seal of the paint- sigh) and forced in the cable which punched out the outlet inside the house (which I have since fixed). The company seemed to think that my expectations for an exterior paint job were unrealistically high. I thought it was rather reasonable. So, if you do all the prep work yourself, they do a good, fast job.

We had the exterior of our 4 level home, garage & garden painted. We are overall pleased but the miscommunications between the sales person & customer service & then the actual painting crew was frustrating. The crew was attentive to details but didn't know the special instructions so I was glad my wife was home. Everyone was professional & the work was excellent but we needed to keep repeating our original instructions which wasted our time. Everything turned out great & we would recommend this company.

The service and painting was top notch. Friendly painters and they did a great job prepping and cleaning up. Our job required 2 different colors and the rooms has lots of angles, but the job was flawless. They weren't cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for.
