CertaPro Painters of Far North Texas

We used Certa Pro for painting our exterior home, fixing our arbor and painting that also. We had used them previously on home interior and knew we would use them again on exterior. They were very good, cleaned up at the end and the follow up walk through with the our project manager was great. She found a couple of touch ups that we had missed. Will use them again on our fence.

The entire Certa Pro team supervised by Mario Mesa, was very polite, professional, extremely cooperative and very meticulous when it came to painting our home. We could not have asked for a better crew. They did an outstanding job. We would also like to thank Matt Unger our sales representative.

Very nice and courteous. Painted the exterior of our house and barn. Replaced rotting siding, properly caulked and painted. Cleaned up after the job was complete. Would hire them again.

Working with CertaPro Painters of Frisco was great. Gary, Tina and their entire team were extremely easy to work with. They did exactly what they said they would do. The crew was quiet, professional, courteous, careful and cleaned up each day. They made sure we were 100% completely satisfied. We would highly recommend them.

I���ve never had a home project go so poorly. Our job was a full interior paint. Our site manager was not on site at all for 4 of 5 days. The deadline for completion was consistently changed as they got further behind. Project was only finally completed because we managed the progress ourselves and asked CertaPro to send a second team in to help. Our brand new rug, which we requested they move before painting, was not moved and instead was used as an equipment storage area. Predictably, it was stained with paint. I asked that they not scrub our rug and cause further damage. They scrubbed the rug and frayed the fibers. A worker dented the wood in our bathroom vanity with a ladder, and the site manager (when he finally returned for the walk through) accused us of lying about it. Said it looked to him like it was done with a hammer. Open paint cans were left sitting directly on our carpet with no pad underneath both during painting and overnight. Even after we brought this up, it continued to happen. The quality of the initial job was very unprofessional. Uneven lines, uneven coverage, paint on trim, paint splattered on cabinets/floors/fixtures. We had to micro manage touch-ups, because places we would mark with tape had tape removed with no changes made. Their solution for fixing where paint ran onto trim was to scrape all of the paint off, including the trim paint. I spent 3 hrs typing up every issue in every room so that we had a record. The second crew they sent did good work. It took several weeks, but the final quality looks good. They had the rug cleaned, which removed 95% of the paint stains. The bathroom vanity could not be fixed. When it came time for the invoice, we were offered $250 for the stains on our new rug ($1K value) and nothing more. The owner said it was generous. When I reminded the owner of all of the property damage, the personal insult to us by his site manager, the poor quality of our initial job and all of the personal time I had to spend managing the job so that it was done right ��� he added $100. He told me that was more than generous. Said the damage they did to our vanity was inconsequential. Said he spent time on our project, too. Did some car dealer math and told me was discounting me 15% (it���s actually 6%). The final job looks good, but we remain with damaged property and the time we had to invest to get the project done correctly wasn���t worth it. Save yourself a headache and look around.

Great communication from the owner to the supervisor of the jobs. They were efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I would use them again.

Initally it took some back and forth conversations with the sales rep to get them to match their competitors bid but they did come through on their promise. Although it did take a few pointers with the paint crew to make sure they understood the job and the quality of work we were expecting we are very pleased with the outcome. The painters were friendly and easy to work with. I do think the company should invest in some lifts or something as there was quit a bit of inefficiency with them trying to paint our 21 ft ceilings with ladders? They had to have two guys hold the ladder while one guy painted. I'm thinking the lift would pay for itself in a few jobs just with the savings in productivity alone? As a result it took a lot longer to complete the job. But over-all very pleased with the work and the experience. I will hire them again when we need the outside of the house painted.

They seemed to have hurried the job which showed on completion. The lead did not like it when we ask to have to have areas corrected. They painted interior and exterior. When they painted exterior it was almost dark, it rained that evening and the temperature was in the twenties. This is why we felt they rushed it. Didn't get the walk through for two days. The owner Tina and their representive were professional just now the lead.

They did a custom job for us and stained our playscape. It looks great and the job they did was superb

Certa-Pro is an honest and reliable company. The owners are friendly and accommodating but they are not painters; others perform the actual work. We experienced many disturbing "Issues" over the course of this project but the owners jumped through fire to resolve our problems.

Done on time and to my satisfaction.

Gary and his crew did a great job of repainting our house and re-finishing our front door. Their communication was great throughout the process and the job was completed to my satisfaction.
