CertaPro Painters

Overall an incredibly bad experience that I wouldn't recommend unless you literally have a paint emergency and these guys are the only ones in town. You get what you pay for, I guess. I was surprised how low the quote was, but Chris - the estimator - was so nice and they provided plenty of reviews and guarantees that we just bit the bullet and went with CertaPro. Biggest mistake of our lives. We have hired many contractors in the past, but this is by far and away the worst experience we have ever had. The finished work looks good at the end of the day, but anything we pointed out (missed patch work, punctuality of the crew, the fact that the prep didn't live up to the guarantee presented with the contract), we were made to feel like we were being overly picky and critical. From the joint compound tracked all over our floors and stairs ("oh that's normal - gets on the shoes. We usually just scrape it off to the missed patchwork oh these guys are working close up all day. They can't see every little thing.") to the fact that they couldn't accurately estimate their time ("it's too cold in your house so the paint didn't dry.") We ultimately just gave up on expressing our extreme dissatisfaction in an effort to just get them out of our house. I work from home and lost several hours of productivity between the very loud workers to the multiple meetings with the crew to discuss the work. (As a side note, HUGE shout out to Chris and Paolo. The customer service ranking here is absolutely no reflection on them. They were fabulous.)

This is the second time we hired CertaPro- they also did all the trim on our house & barn exteriors last year. They are VERY professional, their painting teams are neat & clean, pleasant to be around and do terrific work. I will always hire them for any painting projects!

We had tried for 3 years to get our home and barn trim painted. Every year the person we had thought we had hired was a no show. CertaPro was very professional; they responded quickly to any questions or calls; they did a fabulous job; they were punctual and polite. I can't say enough how pleased we were. We have hired them again for a painting job inside the house.

I had two of the most professional and helpful painters (Gil and Ricardo) and could not be more pleased. I had just purchased an older home and hired CertaPro to paint my entire interior including ceilings, walls, closets, remove old wallpaper, and repair a ton of holes and Gil and Ricardo did it all. They prepared the walls correctly-no shortcuts. The price at first seemed high but when i saw the amount of work it took i think it was fair. My home looks beautiful now.

Be sure to use established company first one I hired was to slow and didn't strip walls of wallpaper was going to wallpaper over. Thank goodness for CertaPro

Kevin and Carol were wonderful to work with. The exterior painting was completed quickly and beautiful. I highly recommend CertaPro and will hire them for interior painting when needed.
