This company is certainly the worst I have ever dealt with. READ THE BELOW STORY AND RUN FAR AWAY - they are unprofessional, rude, and untruthful. We contacted them back in 2018 when we bought our house. Rob came with one of his colleagues, obviously, they were not very clean, and they were untruthful to us on everything. They gave us an estimation of $4,000 to put the chimney liner and connect the wall to the stove. They took 2 checks that day. One for $3,000 and one for $1,000, and Rob wrote on the contract that since we have spent over $3,000, we will have free cleaning services for life. This is the reason why we chose to say yes to their estimate and services. A piece was missing, an 8-inch cap that he said he will order and will come back to fix. He never showed up after 3 or 4 calls. 2 years later, I needed to clean my chimney and call the company back since they offered us free cleaning in writing on our contract. After 4 attempts, they finally came this afternoon. While the 2 gentlemen finished the vacuuming of our stove, the one responsible showed me an invoice for $149 for the cleaning of the stove. I immediately showed him the contract signed by Rob with his writing saying: Annually cleans for free. He said that is the reason why Rob is no longer working with us. I refused to pay and received a call from Jeanette. Not only she said she told me on the phone that the service would cost $149 and obviously she never told me this, otherwise, I would have said something about the contract, but she also said that I could have written Annually cleans for free myself. She was untruthful to me and then insulted me by saying I could have written this myself. I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN SUCH A RIDICULOUS COMPANY. Also, they tell you a timeframe, but it will NEVER BE RESPECTED. You know the story of the guy that had an emergency, a flat tire...they will invent everything they can to NOT DO THE JOB.

The company takes advantage of the ignorance of the customers. They bully them and threaten them that they will close the building if the customer does not do the job right away. Do not ever use this company even your dreams.

I highly recommend Certified Chimney of Holtsville. A lightning strike caused damage to my chimney. I needed a new liner as well as a new cement crown and other work done to bring my chimney back up to snuff. The owner, Charles and his two associates (Christian and Christopher) did an outstanding job. They are extremely professional, neat and friendly. They completed the job quickly and the most important thing is that I was given a very decent price. If you need chimney work done, donâ t hesitate to call them.

This Gentlemen initially tried charging me two thousand dollars and when met with resistance the priced was dropped to twelve hundred dollars. Good work just didnt like the initial meeting.

They called and scheduled appointed 10 days out to inspect and clean fireplace/chimney. Said they would call day prior to confirm. No call so I call them. Confirm 8am - 11am. Guy shows up within that time and immediately says roof is too high for him to go up. What? Needs to reschedule. Tells me at least I can cut the grass, so day is not a waste! They call and reschedule for 7 days later between 11am-2pm. They call the evening before to confirm. On the scheduled date, 220pm, no one shows. I call them and was told the crew was working in Sag Harbor and ran into a problem. That is an hour away with no one on the road. Told them to cancel and the response was ok. If they can not get the right people to do the job and then fail to keep an appointment or even call to let me know they are running late or not coming, I am glad I did not use them
