MHI exceeded expectations! Had a minor leak during strong winds, which indicated our original roof urgently required replacement. Recommended by a coworker, MHI proved exceptional. Transparent throughout, they provided ample visuals, expertly addressed queries, and detailed the roofing process, our roof's condition, available solutions, and financing options. Communication was seamless, accommodating calls or texts. They completed the roof and gazebo replacement in just one day. For comprehensive service, choose MHI. -Work still needs to be completed a month later -Promised to install gutter guards for free. No one getting back to us -Told us we could increase like of credit if needed. Had to have wood replaced on roof, would not increase credit -Gutter installers did not clean up after the first day. Spend 2 hours cleaning nails, cigarettes, and other trash. We have kids and animals that play in the yard -Gutter installers did not clean the second day. MHI sent someone to clean up -Called multiple times, left voicemails, no one calls you back -Sent text messages, left on read or no response -Constantly asking for payment when work isn't complete -Gutters/guards already need to be fixed. Cracked and leaking -Due to nails not picked up, flat tire. Multiple nails found in driveway and in yard. -Had to have all 4 tires replaced. Asked if their insurance would cover, no response -Nail ended up in shoe

After Hurricane Ian, there was so much going on, so many roofing companies to choose from, and not to mention dealing with insurance. MHI did the hard work of working with the insurance company and getting the roof paid for. While waiting for the $$ to come through, they got us financed through a company with no interest/no payments for 18 months, so we didn't have to wait until the check arrived. The crew was here for a total of 4 days, and they worked the entire time. They were professional, and the project managers were fantastic. Easy to work with and great people. Definitely recommend MHI for any roofing needs.

MHI name came up through ANGI List/Home Advisor as a local pro. I was most interested in GAF shingle reputation. Met with salesman Z who provided some guidance. He toured the roof and attic and discussed some of his companies variations to the GAF product lines. Everything was positive at this point as I believed I made the right choice. Signed an agreement from his IPAD and he left. What I received back was an email communicating that I had purchased shingles and Golden Pledge warranty. Okay after a week or so I decided to try to reach out to the salesman to receive more detailed information about the job. No response. Received a call from operations at MHI asking me to move up my install date to the following Monday. I had reservations as Western Pa was expecting storms earlier that week. Was told that they would not work in bad weather both from sales and operations. Day of the job rain was expected after noon. Operations guy arrived and afterwards a van full of workers were dropped off. Not having the agreement at that point I asked the only MHI representative if they we are aware details of the job. He was only site part of the day and had to leave to supply additional shingles (ran out). Needed to find a vent which never made it to the job site. Storms began around one a clock, Work partially finished the ridge of the house was exposed. Watched workers climb on and off the roof to cover the ridge. Some rain did come into the attic although not happy would not consider it problematic. Storms increased in the afternoon probably the worst rain of the season, Stayed under the back porch with the workers who I could not communicate with for a long period of time. Finally during the evening they finished. Stayed in my yard and they were picked up by their driver after 10pm. The next day I met with MHI employee for a walk thru which consisted of standing on a hill and hearing everything looked great. Voiced displeasure with what I thought was shingles that were not seated properly. MHI guy I guess pretended that he could not see it. Was a 20 to 30 intake (MHI) that was cut into both the front and back 0f attic roof. Gave up and asked for drone view of the house which they did provide, Intake although discussed was put in a place that was an eyesore and looked like ____. I never seen anything like it before. So 2 weeks after the work was performed received a call from the salesman (was in CA Sound familiar?) discussed the intake and the location and winter and durability concerns. I believed it was going to be located with less visibility . For GP warranty concerns never once was an alternative suggested. I asked to have it removed. MHI provided a quote for additional work to be performed. Also asked me to sign an additional form explaining I was happy and satisfied with their work and it was done to their spec. I had a problem with that. Summer I signed an agreement to pay for the removal of the intake and board & shingle replacement. Terms were 2-3 weeks. In the meantime both after the original job was performed and after the second agreement was signed I kept receiving text and emails to join their Referral app. I can make money by referring them. So the terms of 2nd agreement did expire I never heard back from MHI. I started sending additional emails inquiring. They broke their agreement terms. Finally I requested a refund for the GP Warranty and told them that I would find some other contractor to remove the intake. They told me I would void my warranty which I do not have( and I paid for). Asked me to sign 2 additional docs (1) Ventilation exclusion form (that is OK) , (2nd) their doc stating job was complete satisfied with the work performed. Should not have to sign any form stating satisfaction unless you are or making money via their referring APP. I would not categorize this as home i...
