I hired Chaparral to complete an in-ground pool and patio and paid them almost 6 figures for this job. I had a number of issues that needed to be rectified and was given the runaround for 2 years before I finally took them to court and won. Save your money and find a different contractor.

Chaparral Pools completed our pool install within 2 months and we could not be happier with installation to completion. Jerry did an excellent job with managing construction as well as incorporating our existing decking to make our backyard look like a masterpiece - and all this in the middle of a Pandemic! We could not be happier! Also feel like we made some great friends in the process with Jerry and Elizabeth. Still praying for you, Jerry, and hope all is well! Love you guys!!

Lack of communication with clients. Has not followed communications up via email, text message or phone calls .

The pool by itself is a quality product, unfortunately, the decking and drainage around the pool is a totally different story. When we first started picking all the materials we would use for our pool I really liked the look of the travertine decking but was very hesitant to use it because I did not want it to be uneven. I was told by Chapparal that I just had not seen it done right, they would not lay uneven decking. We paid the extra and even went with an upgraded tile. Our decking cost 1/3 of the total pool cost. If I had to give this project a grade the pool would get an A while the decking would get a D. The decking is completely uneven, water pools everywhere when people just get out of the pool, not to mention when it rains. The drainage that was built in is inefficient and the water on the deck does not flow into it at all. The team that did the coping did a wonderful job unfortunately the team that did the decking put lots of cuts into the coping as they were cutting tiles and there was no attempt to fix it. The cuts in the tiles are completely uneven. When you pair the uneven, poor drainage with the poor craftsmanship of lining up the tiles with clean cuts the decking was definitely not worth the money. We are already looking at getting our decking and drainage redone and our pool is only 7months old. The worst part about the whole experience is that not one person from Chaparral Pools has ever been out to see the final product.

Chad and Jerry are Amazing! They listened to our wants and our concerns on the project and came up with an AMAZING design for our Pool and Spa. The completed project was even better than what we could have imagined! They make the process easy and seamless. From dig to fill (during Christmas and new years holiday) was just at 8 weeks, and that was with a 2 week delay that was on our end, not theirs. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to build a beautiful and quality pool/spa.

Chad with Chaparral Pools was Amazing! He was very knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. He was on property every day to ensure the work was being completed to his standards. Pricing was better than anyone around and the quality was second to none. We love our Chaparral Pool and recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool. Jerry and his team were AMAZING! We first started talking to him about 6 months before we decided to go forward with our build. He helped with the design and was understanding of our timeline. Once we made the decision to get a pool, he got us swimming in under 30 days from breaking ground. His customer service and professionalism is outstanding. His scheduling was also very impressive. The caliber/quality of workmanship was outstanding. There generally wasn t a day that work wasn t being done - we had a patio extension plus the pool and decking put in. I never felt like we were just waiting for people to show up or that things weren t happening timely. We have had our pool for 2 summers now and we would absolutely still recommend Jerry and his team! 5 STARS all around!

From our initial consult to pool completion and beyond, this company has been nothing short of spectacular. Their design was our favorite and exactly what we requested. Chaparrals project pricing was median, however you get SO MUCH more for your money. Jerry and Chad were both there every step of the way. Communication was outstanding. They were both very patient with all of our questions. I really feel this company values and exudes honesty and integrity. We will continue to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for pool contractor. As a bonus our project was completed to perfection ahead of schedule.

Value A+, Customer service A+, Chad Hennick A+,. His patience A++. I met with 8 builders who were all over the place in price, bad sales pitches, bad answers... except for Chad. He is not really a sales guy, he's an outstanding project manager who makes sure your vision comes to fruition. His subcontractors were awesome especially the stone guys. All laid by hand. No detail was too small for them to address. The pool turned out to be just awesome. Chaparral's value was superior. So many things with the other builders was "extra". Their price was very competitive but there were no added costs. Do your homework. Some builders want quick, emotional decisions. Don't allow that button to be pushed. I pulled 20 questions off the web and sent to all. Chad walked through all of them. Others were irritated, some never answered. We had a pool built nearly 20 years ago but this time the experience was fun...except for the rain. Call these guys first and then meet with the rest. Draw your own conclusions... we did and could not be happier. We would be happy to share the process and tell you what we learned. Note: don't pay $650 to have your stone sealed...do it yourself. I recommend Jorge Billas for any gutter work. Last note: If you have 5 feet of clearance between your home and your fence, Chaparral can get to your back yard without pulling down a fence. Chaparral was the ONLY company that did not want to pull down 30 feet of fence. The others wanted as much as $4000 to bring in a "mini" tractor to dig it out. Call these guys first and talk to as many as you want from there. Good Luck!!
