These guys are liars and I would suggest avoiding them. My wife negotiated a move price for 10 hours (with hourly billing going beyond that), that would exclude the travel time to and from our house for the movers. The price included all materials to be used. In the morning, the movers came and asked for signatures on a bunch of documents, which I gave them, assuming they were standard liability documents and reflect the email offer agreement made earlier. At the completion of the work, they presented a bill to my wife with added time for their personal travel and added material cost. When my wife questioned the charges, she was told that **your husband signed the papers this morning agreeing to pay for all of this** and she did not have a choice. She tried bringing the terms of the initial agreement up and was flat out denied any consideration due to papers I signed trusting them for them to reflect the agreement. To make matters worse, the movers broke a screen door in the basement (a nice expensive automated door for $1,500). I took pictures for a claim and when my wife called the office she was told, that the movers sent a video that the door was working fine. I have never seen such disrespect for a customer and such blatant lies by the owner and the moving crew. Speaks of the crooked culture of this business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS or you will be DUPED by their practices and like me will get hit by hidden costs and broken expensive home parts.

The movers did a fine job, but the owner got my business through a low-ball estimate. She came to my apartment and looked at all the rooms and wrote me an estimate for $650. She emphasized that I needed to pack all the items in boxes (except several pictures), and I did. The actual cost was about twice her estimate - entirely because she underestimated the time required. An honest mistake --- she has been doing local moves in the area for decades. BE CAREFUL!

"Dear sr, I am sorry you feel the way you do. First and foremost I did not low ball you to get your business. It's an estimate based on information you provided by you. The distance between the door to your new home and truck parking was a longer than described by you. Additionally, the original estimate was for 4 hours at $165. Per hour $ 660.00 dollars. The cost for you move was $933.50 that is not almost double. Finally, I have been in business for 16 years serving local and long distance moves, not decades as per your review. i also reduced cost over all and through in materials. We never profess to be the cheapest. Quality is our focus."
