Hire a real pool contractor. My experience with Armando Gonzalez / Chase Whitney Pools was an absolute nightmare from start to finish and one of the worst contractor experiences I have ever had. The project ran more than four months past the agreed completion date with no valid written extension. What followed was extremely poor workmanship, repeated delays, damage concerns, and a complete refusal to take accountability. He was unprofessional, the quality of the work was extremely poor, and the handling of this project was completely unacceptable. I SUED HIM IN A COURT OF LAW AND WON. HE APPEALED, AND HE LOST THAT SECOND CASE AS WELL. HE LOST TWICE. If you decide to use him, get every single promise in writing and make sure it is included in the contract. No exceptions. In my experience, anything left verbal or vague can and will become a problem later. Document every communication, save every text, and confirm important conversations in writing. Terrible customer service.. as soon as he is done building your pool you will never be able to get ahold of him! If you have any concerns good luck!!! Iâ ve been trying for about 6 months just to get a call or text back!!

Chase whitney pools was the only pool company/contractor to get back and call me and even respond after several calls to other pool companies. Armando Gonzalez was always able to receive my calls and respond back with any concerns I had. He also provided me with a great value for all the work I got on top of the pool built. My pool turned put amazing and the deck and waterfall make it look great I got a great price for my waterfall as well. Mondo went above and beyond what my wife and I expected, the design for our yard was a tricky one because we have big tall redwood spruce trees and he made it all possible without us having to take out our trees, Mondo nailed the design of the pool and spa plus added a nice water feature (waterfall). Mondo and his crew worked very hard to make this happen in a timely matter! He walked us through each step of the construction process and answered any questions we might have. Chase Whitney Pools was great until I started having issues with the lights and water features. Now my steps are green and they will not fix it or respond! Horrible pool service!

Mondo is efficient and very professional. The job was larger than anticipated and he came out two days in a row and took care of the job. Also, their monthly service is one of the most affordable.

They are very nice people

Mondo and his crew amazed my wife and me with the professional customer service that was provided. His team came in and kicked butt, removing the old plaster, cleaning up and adding the new plaster in less than a week. Pool is filling now and looks great. Can't wait to start swimming. Super job!
