After getting 1 horrible quote, and 2 other really high quotes, finally my friend, also a previous client of Pride Painting, recommended them to us. I reached out to the owner on a Sunday morning, asking if he was available last minute, an hour from the call. He agreed and showed up on time. When shaking hands and engaging in small talk, he seemed a little "cocky," or bold with confidence, and I thought I was going to experience a repeat of previous quotes. As I walked him through the interior and walked around the exterior, my comfort/confidence grew a little more and more, because he was actively listening, giving feedback and personal ideas/input, which I hadn't previously considered, and he even had a notebook to write down personally requested specifics that were most significant to my wife and I. My initial first impression quickly turned around. By the next morning, we hired him, after receiving an extremely thorough estimate that included absolutely every dollar, even daily man hours/labor. After 3 weeks, all the work was accomplished!! My family and I were so excited and happy, that not only Pride Painting understood our vision, but they had exceeded our expectations! Another major plus, especially after spending much time hunting for and getting quotes from professionals, the business owner brought in the plumber and electrician needed within the process!! I was so relieved, this was so helpful!! Throughout the entire process, I was blown away at the owners hands on approach, performing the majority of the work himself, but one of his employees helped with all of the painting, and did a wonderful job as well. The owner designed and created both the "built in" for storage/shelving in the office and the new, amazing large back patio! It was an absolute pleasure working with Pride Painting, and if necessary in the future, this is the only company I'll reach out to. Community, we highly recommend Pride Painting!!!!

I hired Pride painting to paint the exterior of our home, the owner of this company (Justin Thompson) has ripped us off, he took the deposit, then had us pay more money half way through the project and then was aggressively pushing for full and final payment because he was desperate because he couldn't make his payroll. My wife and I (like gullible idiots) got sucked in to his sob story and paid him to help him out- all the while he was referring to his divorce and saying that he wouldn't let us down, wouldn't leave our home unfinished, wouldn't screw us over and would make sure that the job was completed. What a bunch of LIES. He didn't come back to complete the job, he only came back to pick up his tools and we never saw him again. He didn't return any of our calls and we have not been given our money back. The workmanship on this job is so bad that around most of the house you can see the original color of the paint (was white) through the paint that he put on our home (light brown). An area of the front of the home had to be replaced because of moisture damage- he charged us extra for this and when it was done it showed that he didn't put any support behind the new wood which is now sunken into the home and looks absolutely terrible. There are other areas that he totally missed and they haven't seen any paint at all. The owner of this company is a CROOK and is the most dishonest "tradesman" that I have had the misfortune to come into contact with. After doing further research on him it is obvious that a high percentage of the people that have given him the high review scores on the different websites are personal friends- If anyone is looking for recommendations for painters then I would recommend that you look elsewhere. If you would like to come by and see his handiwork just let me know- I can't afford to have it repainted and it is in the same condition that it was when he left. Even the paint manufacturer was shocked by the abysmal quality of his handiwork.
