Chris was Great! He was there ahead of time, did a thorough job and was very polite and mannerly. He has a good concept with charging by the square foot - seems fair to everyone, instead of making smaller houses pay the same price as larger houses. I would certainly recommend him for the job. He loves what he does!

Chris was very professional on the phone and it surprised me that, for such a low price, I was getting as much as I did! MA CARRES is a FHA 203k qualified inspector (though I only hired him as a home inspector) AND a Realtor so I got a little bit of everything when he and his employee came. The fact that they are retired firefighters was a bonus as I had some questions about darkened wood and they let me know where the CO2 detector should really be located for best effect. I definitely will use MA CARRES in the future!!

Chris Barcikowski was on time, cordial, professional and spent a reasonable time checking our home issues. He provided us with recommendations on the action to take to solve the water standing inside the air ducts. He did testing for possible mold conditions and siad the results should be ready for us by this Friday, 9/12..

They were very helpful when they came out to our new home. Chris and his asisstant were very friendly and they know what they were talking about. The real Estate agent that deals with the seller was also impressed and is going to change her current inspectors and change over to Chris. The only thing that I am not satisfied with is that it has been a week since the inspection and I have yet heard from Chris and I have not recieved anything stating the conditions of the inspection. Responded immediately with phone contact, giving very thorough background and general knowlege. very thorough inspection. Arranged to inspect home on short notice and provided written report w/in less than 24 hours. first house was not purchased. this inspector was hired to inspect a second home for us, which was out of state. Inspector quickly acquired new state cert (at our expense, agreed to by us) and again did immediate thorough inspection with report to us in less than 24 hours. Questions we had following reading report answered promptly. Very highly recommended.
