We had high hopes that our concrete project would be done well as there were such good reviews. The concrete steps were not done satisfactorily and had to be demolished again and redone. The second steps were better but never finished properly where the steps meet the siding and the aluminum siding was damaged in several places during the demolition process. Cruz apologized for the damages and said it would be taken care of by a siding guy or he would contact his insurance. We were lead to believe he was making arrangements with a siding professional to remedy this problem in November 2018. This is 4 months after the project began. Nothing was done by December and he stopped responding to our attempts to contact him At that time we had no other recourse but to file a claim with his insurance. There were three plants damaged in the landscaping that were never replaced as promised. The walkway also had to be redone as it was not centered with the steps. It turned out well as did the partial garage floor and the driveway. I have learned to do a lot more research and try to find professionals through friends, family, and neighbors.

Beware. Do not use this company for any reason. Cruz E. Leon (if that's even his real name) is a totally shady contractor. He installed a patio at my home, which turned out fine, but he cut my cable line, an underground gas line, and punctured an oil tank on my property in the process leaving $10K worth of damages because he didn't take the proper steps to determine what was underneath the patio area. He is a total hack job. Now he will not return my calls and I have had to get a lawyer involved as he will not stand behind his work and take responsibility for his mistake. Please do yourself a favor do not use this contractor. He has several companies with various addresses to shield himself from being found. If you absolutely have to use him do yourself a favor and get his insurance information upfront and call the company to confirm that he indeed has insurance. Also, I would check his driver's license to make sure the name he is giving you and his address is legit. He also does business under the company named "Cruxper Brick Paving & Concrete" and possibly "DP Landscaping".

Never Use Cruz! I hired Chicago Brick Paving in September 2017. They replaced my patio and front walk. Communication with Cruz was awful! I never knew if and when they were coming out or what was being done. After a month the job was finally complete but it failed inspection. Cruz blamed this on me saying since I didn't want to replace the porch in front or back they couldn't make the stair height correct. As a contractor knowing village requirements he should be able to do this. He had even told me my steps didn't need to be replaced. Nonetheless he argued this. He kept telling me he was going to talk to the inspector but he never did. After months of texting and calling him he finally replaced my back steps to correct the issue in August 2018! But my front was still failing inspection. He wouldn't even respond to my communication to see what was happening. It took me contacting their bond agent to file a claim. They had 30 days to fix it. Cruz still would not contact me. I came home one day to find one guy, blocking my driveway. Starting work on the porch. Their idea of fixing the issue was to put a thin layer of concrete on mt first two steps to adjust the step height. It looks terrible and I'm sure the layer won't last. They did a terrible job. I would never recommend them! Cruz was rude and not helpful! I've never dealt with such an unprofessional company.

We are very happy with how our brick pavers patio turned out! 2.5 days and our patio was ready for use! It’s perfect!

I made the right decision when I hired Chicago Brick Paving, Streamwood to replace our steps, front porch and patio with stamped concrete. Cruz and his crew were very professional, friendly, efficient, and hard working. Cruz was always available and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. They started the project and stayed with it until completion advising me of what they would be doing each step of the project. I would highly recommend Chicago Brick Paving to anyone who wants professional, honesty and quality. We love our new porch/patio/steps. Thanks Cruz and crew!

This company did our patio better than we expected. We are extremely happy with the finished product. We had six estimates done, and not only did Chicago Brick have the best price, we feel like we got a lot for our money. I highly recommend them.

Porch, steps and sidewalk are excellent and they restored the yard with efficiency and expertise. Drainage from all surfaces is excellent and no puddles are present. Only glitch was delayed inspection by the Village[out of contractor's hands.]

I hired this company to install brick pavers in our walkway. Not the concrete as stated above. The person whom I was working with was Cruz Leon. He gave me an estimate which I agreed on. He requested our plat of survey as he was "supposedly" going to the Glendale Heights village to submit an application for a permit to do the Job. Three weeks in, I've tried numerous times to contact Cruz to find out a projected date of when the job would begin. He fails to answer the calls or reply to the voicemails I have left him. I called the village to find out if there was a pending application for the permit and I was informed that there is no application pending. I tried again calling and leaving voicemails with no luck getting through. I would've liked to have this project completed before July and it looks like that will not be possible as I wasted three weeks waiting on this company to do the job they agreed on but they are nothing but a fluke! Now I have to wait God knows how long to have another company submit an application for a permit and get this job done.

We had them rip out an old concrete patio and two bushes. We then had them put down a new brick paver patio. Rain delayed the project, but that is not their fault. We absolutely love the work they did.

Cruz and all of his crew were very professional, completed all work. Clean up was great. Would highly recommend them!! Cruz will be back next season to work on our second phase of our landscape project.

The overall quality of the finished product was good, but the crew was a little negligent when it came to details and cleanup.
