Great experience, super quick install!

CGL went above and beyond when taking care of me and my fireplace. I had a great experience with them; however, there were some communication issues initially, but they more than made up for that by the outstanding service. I went with CGL because of the price, and they do not charge for a return visit. The first time they came out, they did not have the part needed to fix my fireplace and said they had to come back. Before he left, he took some time to check out my other fireplace since he was here. They did not try to sell me anything and explained everything to where I could understand it. When they came back out with the part, the service technician was great. He was polite and explained what he was doing and some tips to keep my fireplaces in great shape. When he finished, he cleaned up after himself. I mentioned that I was planning on installing a remote for both of my fireplaces. He told me precisely what remote to get and how to install it when it arrived. He told me to call if I had issues installing it on either fireplace, and they would guide me through it. Now talk about going above and beyond. I will use Chicago Gas Lines anytime I need anything for my fireplaces.

They were extremely professional and provided superb customer service. Although they worked on a very snowy and cold day, they recognized an issue with our chimney and proactively went on our roof to fix it. The fireplace was exactly what we wanted and it cost $6,000 less than what we were quoted by the Elmhurst fireplace company.

Kevin was very thorough, clean, and helpful.He explained how my gas fireplace and my remote worked, cleaned it well including screen and glass. Would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs help with gas fireplace.

We had a gas line extended into our garage for a ventless heater. The guys were polite/professional. Service was completed for the amount of the quote they gave us and they did what they said they were going to do. Small complaint was that not everything was put back into place on our back patio, and there was a bulb broken on our outdoor lights. Overall, we were pleased and would recommend this contractor.

Installed gas line for outdoor grill Estimate: Came out reasonably fast, and was helpful recognizing some options I hadn't considered (e.g. making line compatible for future fire pit feed) Install: Ryan was very polite, considerate, and helpful. He noticed an issue with the estimate, then explained and consulted with me to correct it. He discovered some other areas of my existing gas line that were loose and fixed it. He also provided some insight for making decisions on other gas elements in my house that may come up in the future. The approach was definitely more"assist" than "sell", and I appreciated that. Overall, I would use/recommend again.

Great knowledge base and I’m enjoying my fireplace!

Great experience, had a minor gas leak on my fireplace valve, they came out the next day and swapped it in 20 minutes, checked all the connections with a gas detector also. Defiently will use again
