We’re currently mid-construction with Icon and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Communication has been outstanding — they keep us informed at every single step of the build. They use an app that lets us follow along with progress in real time, including photos, so we always know exactly where things stand without having to chase anyone down for updates. It’s been a smooth, transparent process, and that level of visibility has made building a home so much less stressful. Highly recommend Icon to anyone considering a custom build.

We’re still in the planning stage with Icon and haven’t even broken ground yet, but we already have to leave a review because they’ve been that impressive. From day one, these guys have been on top of everything. They answer our questions fast, keep us in the loop, and actually listen to what we want. No runaround, no feeling like just another job on their list. The whole design process has been way easier than we expected. They walk you through everything step by step and give you tons of options to make the house truly yours. We came in not really knowing what to expect and they made it simple. Honestly, if the build goes half as smooth as everything has gone so far, we’re going to be thrilled. Welcome Home! We chose Icon Building Group after discovering one of their beautiful communities and diligently researching the company. We started the process with Icon’s owner, Charlie Murphy, who is incredibly responsive and attentive to his clients - personally taking us to visit multiple homes in progress as we worked with their architect and designers to make our vision come to life. Charlie and Jenny (Charlie’s business and life partner) have created a company that is client focused, one that is all about providing a stream lined approach to the new home building process. One where a highly polished project management system allows the clients to partner with the company in all aspects of the build. From the moment we signed our contract, we were assigned a personalized team to include the President of New Construction (Joe A.), Project Manager (Mike P.), Design Consultant (Kara), Cabinet Design Consultant (Natalia) and Permits/Accounting Coordinator (Shawna). Each of these individuals are standouts in their field and walked with us through every part of the process. We were never treated as a number to Icon, but as valued members of the team working to create our new home from the ground up. We moved into our new custom built house in February 2026, almost exactly ten months after Icon broke ground; absolutely incredible in an industry famous for delays. Icon’s owners and staff truly made the home building process as seamless as possible; always taking the time to listen, address our questions and concerns, and provide mutually agreed upon solutions. We felt supported throughout the process and always valued as clients. Finally… our house is gorgeous! We walked into Icon Building Group with big ideas for a custom Japandi style house (Scandinavian meets Japanese) and they made our dreams come to fruition. Kara consistently had creative design ideas to produce the look we wanted while keeping within budget; she has beautiful taste and the ability to tailor ideas to individual client styles. With Joe at the helm as President of New Construction, we made it through the process of building our custom home with so few hiccups and so little stress that it seems unparalleled in the industry. We are grateful to the entire Icon team for all of their attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of our new home and our overall experience with Icon Building Group.

Icon is a first class company. Charlie Murphy has put together a team of professionals that guide the entire process with experience and knowledge. From design, permitting, construction, and warranty there is a responsive person that manages the task. They completed our house on time, and the project manager keep us informed throughout with Builder's Trend app by posting photos and updating change orders. I strongly recommend you consider Icon when building a custom home.

My wife and I had been looking for a new home for our family for months with no luck. We decided to investigate not only remodeling our current house, but buying a home to remodel, as well as build a new home. From the start of the process Charlie and Jenny were easy to communicate with, responsive, informative, and always willing to help. Jenny came to multiple houses with us to discuss renovations, as well as our current home renovation plan. We went as far as starting to pick out finishes for a new home we wanted to possibly build when we finally found our perfect home. Unfortunately, Charlie and Jenny’s services were not needed with Icon Building, however I can tell you that if I need any remodeling or decide to build in the future, Charlie and Jenny will be two people that I would call!

We just moved into our custom-built home by Icon Builders. It’s been less than a month, but we couldn’t be happier or more thrilled with the end results! I mentioned to Team ICON that everything looks far better than what we had even planned and imagined. Everything turned out exactly the way we envisioned. Building a custom home is a massive project with endless moving parts, decisions, and selections to make, but the Icon team made the entire experience seamless. Their excellent coordination and open communication kept the process smooth and less overwhelming. Being an engineer with a love for design, I wanted to be heavily involved in the design process, and each team member was an absolute joy to work with. A special shout-out to Kara for all her guidance through the numerous selection processes—everything blended together beautifully! Also, a big thank you to Natalia, Mike B., Shawna, Joe, and of course, Charlie for making the entire ride so much fun! No matter how much you plan, building a custom home is complex and will face unforeseen issues, but the Icon team always addressed them reasonably, professionally, and promptly. If you are planning to build your dream home, go with Icon. They truly make your dream a reality!

Charlie, who owns the company, worked with us every step of the way. With no commitment to move forward on the build, Icon treated us like we were already customers and spent a lot of time helping us figure out the best path forward. There was no limit to the questions we could ask, or the time Icon spent educating us, so we could make the best decision for our family. Ultimately, we decided to go a different direction, which Charlie and the team understood and supported. Without their guidance, who know what king of quagmire we might have gotten ourselves into.
