Whenever there was heavy rainfall, I had water leaking into the entrance of my basement along one wall and I knew I need a waterproofing solution before the rainy season starts in the Spring. I had a couple of Companys come to discuss the issue and give me estimates. One company, EVERDRY, was a national chain (a big company) and their solution was to waterproof the whole inside of my basement. The cost was more than what I could afford, $27,000. They said that they did not do small jobs and their recommendation was to address the problem by waterproofing everything. The other company that I had come look at the problem was, CHICAGO'S TOP CONSTRUCTION. They are not a national chain; they are a local company based in Chicago Illinois. Kevin, the owner of the company came out to my house with Fidel his lead worker. They did a thorough survey of the problem and came up with the solution to resolve the specific water leakage issue directly. The cost was much more affordable but more than that they wanted to address the specific problem rather than do work that in the end may have been unnecessary. Much of what they pointed out as being the problem of water getting into my home, I already had an idea that it was the issue, so I know they were not making up unnecessary solutions. Kevin and Fidel assured me that they could resolve the problem and outlined how long it would take and exactly how it would be done. It was a two-day job and Kevin and Fidel were excellent communicators at answering questions and keeping me informed. Fidel and the work crew were excellent workers. They arrived on time and completed the work as outlined. Kevin and his whole team are a wonderful group of people to work with and I happy to have had them take on the project. They certainly have my confidence and backing when it comes to choosing a good company to fix, resolve or undertake any number of construction issues. I would definitely recommend their services and will look to them when considering other home projects.

Failed to render services. Promised to do a job but did not do what he was hired to do. This guy replaced old bricks with old bricks I had taken off the wall. Did not have the proper equipment and caused more damaged than fix it. Chicagos Top Construction failed to rendered service. Anyone that would like to see what type of work they do. They did not do what they promised to do. I have water damaged due to lose and damaged bricks. They are lazy and they bait and switch. Contract had a 5 year warranty and they have not responded to fix the problem. They took my money and did not complete the job properly. I have called them and talked to them but they do not resolve anything and do not want to do the job correctly. They want to give a discount but I want this job to get done. They did a three day job in six hours. How can you do that job in six hours?

Kevin and his crew did a great job with tuck pointing my house. They work in a very timely manner and the quality of work was very good. They did a good job with the clean up afterwards also. Pricing was very competitive to other estimates that I got for the job. They gave me a very detailed estimate in writing and made sure that we were happy with the finished product.

I had contracted with Chicagos Top Construction to do some tuck point work on the side of my house along with some other items for the sidewalk. After they told me everything was done, I noticed that I was getting leaks coming in through my bedroom wall. I paid a lot of money and I feel very disappointed in the quality of the work.

Kevin and his crew were great to work with for our condo building waterproofing project. They made sure I knew what was going on with the project at just the right cadence, showing me what needed to be fixed and how they proposed to make the repairs before proceeding. They cleaned up nicely after the work was completed and did such a great job overall that I’m considering having them do more work on our condo building.

Kevin and his team were true to their word, on time and delivered quality work in only 4-5 days weather permitted. They installed a flat roof system and completed tuckpointing throughout my building. Very easy to do business with. Keep up the good work.

The project manager Kevin was very concern about my concerns he didn't try to over sell the work they clean after the job and they weren't pushing me to use a cash app or cash up front but they accepted my credit card for payment. The whole team was very friendly. I will use his service again because they are honest and fair contractors.

The project manager - Kevin - was on site for the duration of the project to answer any questions as well as make me aware of issues. He was very responsive to my text messages and phone calls. The team did great work and were fast & efficient.
