Chimney Cricket

They have no regard for the customer they dont honor their commitment and have a low business acumen. They have no integrity and they need to honor the contract. They are very inconsiderate. They need to give more regard and respect for their consumers. Very poorly organized and whoever does the scheduling is not doing a good job.

They were very thorough, honest and pleasant. The workers showed us video and emailed pics of the chimney. They cleaned the chimney/fireplace and gave us options depending on whether we wanted to use the fireplace in the future. Our home is 101 years old and therefore we need to prioritize repairs.

after hiring, I was given a bad install date when the date came up, the company did not have parts..3 week wait. During install failed to properly vent my hot water heater and was told to not use my hot water heater over a entire weekend ! More part waiting for stack install. City inspector threatened to red tag the job, long story short,,4 months to get job done,,poor parts supply line,,salesman not knowledgable,and not customer oriented...

Workman arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and did a fine job of repairing the brick veneer on my house. He cleaned up the work area when he finished, and had me check his work to be sure I was satisfied. It was very easy to work with the central office, as well.

We hired them for a cleaning and inspection, when they came out they did a complete cleaning, then told us we needed an entire chimney flue replacement for $5000.00 Why didn't they mention this BEFORE they cleaned and billed us for the cleaning? We now have a clean chimney for a fireplace we can't afford to fix at this time.

Workers were friendly, cheerful, efficient, and professional. They arrived on time every day when they said -- and cleaned up entirely before leaving in the evenings. I would definitely hire them again.

We had a very professional and positive experience with Chimnee Cricket. They rebuilt our chimney and installed a new liner--it had badly deteriorated through the years. They also repaired cracks and broken bricks on our home. The job was expertly done. We are very happy with the results. We recommend them.

Very pleased with all the work done. All necessary brick work, more than what I thought was needed, now complete. 7 years later, it still holds!

They replaced the brick veneer on my front porch and constructed a step to the porch consisting of a limestone tread supported by bricks. The work was first rate, and the brick mason (Francisco) is a real professional.

We feel this company is unethical. We hired them to remove a dead animal from our Chimney, they offered an inspection (unsolicited) fished a camera up there and then told us we need a $4,500 steel insert or we were at risk of our home burning down. I had four different companies inspect the chimney after, they all were familiar with Chimney Crickets "hustle" all four other inspectors said our Chimney was in excellent condition, just needed a cleaning. They said the cameras Chimney Crickets use for the inspection are easy to manipulate to make teeny-tiny cracks appear large, then they pray on peoples fear of losing their homes in a fire. Wanted to warn other home owners, always get second opinions and do not use this company.

Very knowledgeable gentleman. He was quick and efficient. We are moving to NV so won't need him again but will recommend him to new owners and have already recommended him to our real estate agent.

The person who came in was very knowledgable about fireplaces and did a good inspection. He also checked the chimney and gave a good assessment.

This was a big job, even for a first floor laundry! They called to say when they would be here (which was 45 later than originally scheduled). However, they were here for more than 2 hours so I expect the prior apt. took longer as well.
