In the process of cleaning the totally stopped up dryer vent it was discovered that the vent installation was not up to today's code and presented a fire hazard. They were able to install a new vent to the outside through the attic in the tremendous heat we had last week. My new dryer is working now.

We hired this company based on the ratings we read on this site. However, we were not happy with the entire process. The job was not done correctly the first time. When I called I requested the owner himself to come out and redo the job he stated he would send the same fellow out because ": that's what I pay him for." Wrong answer, the job was not correct the first time. Why would we want that same person in our home a second time? I then request a refund, to which he stated, "you'er not getting a refund." A small claim filing is pending; we will let the courts decide.

"the customer called us out for a clogged dryer vent. i said no problem i can eliminated the lent in it for 225.00. the machine sucked up lots of insulation filling the bag, at 3 cubic feet. this is due to dryer vent in the attic failure. the dryer vent came apart as the machine went through it. the vent was not properly installed in the attic. i told the customer his dryer vent was not installed properly up to code. sorry it came apart sucking in more insulation."

I was quoted a price for a chimney inspection and clean. The process took approximately from start to finish 25 minutes. The guy looked up inside the chimney and stood in the back yard looking up at the chimney and said he everything is good to go. I asked if he inspected it and he said yes if I wanted him to get up on the roof he would, I told him if it's a part of the inspection, he said he saw everything he needed to.. I thought what ever,,,300.00 for 25 min, I should of went with the other guy for a cleaning for 175.00. BTW, My receipt only shows a cleaning service.

Very quick assessment, initial quote was high but I was provided a discount for paying cash, company currently does not accept credit cards - only cash and/or checks, assessment was emailed as promised in the evening same day as the assessment - the assessement has my name, address incorrect, and some misspelled words but since it was in email format I was able to save it to my computer and make the corrections before printing it for my landlord.
