Chimney Gurus

We had them come out 12-14-17, the checked the fireplace, told us what we needed, we then ordered a log, grate blower, remote. They said they would contact us when it was in, probably before Christmas or after. We waited and waited no calls. I called and asked when he would start, he says the part wasn't in, this went on and on. Finally he found a blower came out and put all in. we paid him a total of 1,600.00. He leaves I go to open doors on fireplace could not open them my granddaughter did the same couldn't. were looking at fire on the glass in a few min. glass shattered. I called them back he comes back and says your suppose to open doors, I said as you stood here showing us how to use the remote doors were shut he left and we tried to open them. then next day remote dosnt work, wont shut fire off. We have been calling and calling, he keeps saying waiting for part. so last confersation I said come get your stuff and give me our money back he says no. It is now 2-16-18 he still hasn't called its been another 2 weeks, he has our door to fireplace. They don't follow through. So were going to have to do something about this. I wouldn't hire them for anything ever again. we have a 1,600.00 fireplace we cant use. had to turn it off on main valve outside. this is been on going sense dec 14,2017 its feb. 16 2018.

I hired Jamie and they required a $8oo deposit on a new fireplace on 12/14/17 and said that they needed to order the fireplace and said that the job would be done in 2 weeks, Jamie has cancelled 3 appointments and the last time I talked to him he said he is still waiting on a remote to come in and will overnight the part in and then will install the fireplace and that never happened,

Didn't show up the first day. I had to call set another appt. he had no chimney sealer instead used silicone which burned off in about 15 min. Going to Home Depot and fix it myself. His attitude however was good.

They did a very through job.. I will defiantly have them out again next year..

Very knowledgeable

Specifically asked to have my flue looked at to see if it was a single, double, or triple wall pipe.they came in and looked up the chimney and said everything was good. They couldn't answer my question about the flue and left within 5 minutes.

They were very helpful and and timely. I would recommend them and will use them again.

Horrible! Don't use! Poor job of cleaning fireplace. They also tried to sell me work not needed. Total rip off

Did clean the chimney however did not come with remote we asked for also gave us a price said it would be in in two weeks never heard back from them at all. Very expensive

I hired them for a pre-purchase inspection, and have not received an invoice or the written report/estimate of repairs for a week, so it's holding up the purchase process for us. I understand that this is the holiday season- but every other inspector gave us same day reports or a precise estimate of when reports would be available during this same period.
