Honest inspection of the chimney.

I wanted an inspection to be sure that my chimney was in good shape. It was; however, it was an inherited and MC pointed out several important things about use - the gas logs are working fine but are older and not vent-free (so be sure damper is open when using), prior owners had left real pine cones in the fireplace (a no-no), and no evidence of leaking. MC sells vent-free logs, but suggested a less expensive source from which I could order. I appreciated the time and attention to my particular situation.

Great Experience! When Michael came for my free estimate and inspection for rain leaking through my inside bricks (!), he put a tarp on the chimney before even knowing if I would approve his estimate. We were expecting hard rains for days and he said, *Even if you do not have Chimney Masters do the work for you, I want to protect your home from more inside damage!* The rain lasted for weeks before he was able to seal the top of the chase with mortar, seal gaps, holes, and cracks throughout the chase, install a new flashing overlay, install a chimney cap, and waterproof all in just a couple of hours. We never had any rain come inside through the bricks while it was tarped! What a blessing! Michael is also researching ways to remove the white powdery substance that has coated my inside bricks! Thanks to Michael, the *office lady* who is very nice, and the gentleman who also worked on the chimney! You are appreciated!!

Very friendly gentleman came out to the house & did an inspection of our chimney as well as cleaned it out and patched the brick. Was very careful to not make a mess.

Extremely proficient in their business. We had storm damage to a chimney. The chimney was fully repaired, a new chimney cap was fabricated and installed, and they inspected the rest of the flue and fireplace for cracks and concerns. Very professional.

Fred was so nice. He let my 3 year old hold the flashlight while he sealed some cracks. He even gave my son his hat with lights on them when he was done!

The only problem I saw was when there is a scratch in the paint on the back of the fireplace like maybe it wasn't quite dry and something bumped up against it or it got scratched when the logs were put in. Fred was very cordial and helpful with our project.
