Chris was a great guy, and most of the work his guys did was good value for the money. But one of the plumbers he hired to work on our bathroom did a terrible job. At one point, we had plugged up a sink outflow to keep the upstairs condos grey water from leaking out and flooding the downstairs neighbors ceiling. This plumber unstopped the plug and left to go get a part and just...did not come back. His next scheduled visit got rescheduled twice, and in the meantime we did not notice the water leaking until my downstairs neighbor contacted me with a picture of her ceiling paint bulging down like a full-sized water balloon. Chris was great about handling the damage and repaired her ceiling free of charge; I really respected him for that. But two months after the repairs were finally complete, she contacted me with a picture of it happening again. Chris guys were busy, so I hired my own plumber to do emergency repairs. I ended up paying an extra $1000 to redo what his guy did. Chris was responsive during the renovation, even if his plumber was nearly impossible to schedule, but trying to talk to him to resolve this situation afterwards... Well. I recognize that this renovation was neither his favorite project, nor mine, and I want to compliment him on the rest of the work. But the plumbing was the main purpose of this renovation, so I can not rate him any higher.
