Wanted to increase attic insulation to R49 & have ceiling can lights covered so they would not touch insulation. (Home Inspector told us can light covers were needed.) Logan assessed existing insulation and said we needed to add only R13 to get to R49. (A competitor wanted to add R19.) Logan also suggested that the can lights were rated such that they did not need can light covers. My electrician checked the can lights and confirmed that Logan was correct. I very much appreciate getting an accurate assessment from Logan. The Mullins crew arrived on time and blew pink fiberglass insulation into my attic, increasing the depth and evening out the coverage. The attic now looks very snug, as though it is covered in pink snow. The job cost about $600 to improve attic insulation for a 2500 sq. ft. house.
