Chris came to give me a quote on stump removal. I told him I wanted to plant a Crape Myrtle in the same place. He explained in very clear terms that I didn't need to remove the stump, I could just plant the tree over it. I have another Crape Myrtle in my front yard that needed trimming so he did that instead and did a great job. He's my go-to guy now.

We have owned our house for over 20 years. We have a beautiful mulberry tree. We have had many tree trimmers over the years and it started to look bad. Started to grow over my fence and my neighbors roof. All the other trimmers just hacked it up and did a terrible job. We found Christopher through HomeAdvisor and he came in with the correct expertise needed for my tree. The price was incredible and he came out with his crew and he did a fantastic job. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work involved tree trimming, weight reduction, and roof clearance (removing all major deadwood, mistletoe and infected growth from the Oak trees in the front and backyard. We did a thorough search in looking for a tree service that was properly licensed and insured with a D49 classification. The search involved reviewing HomeAdvisor, California Contractorâ s State License Board Review, and recommendations from neighbors, family and friends. We decided to get at least three bids and finally chose CHRISTOPHER EVANGELISTA TREE MANAGEMENT. In Conclusion, the job was completed to our satisfaction. We have given a 5-Star rating to Christopher Evangelista Tree Management because we were happy with the overall results of the job. Chris did a very professional job with the trees. The trees are now aesthetically pleasing to us. We were extremely happy with the thorough job the crew did. They left the yard clean. Chris provided the most reasonable estimate out of the several tree companies we asked for quotes and came to our property and gave us the information very quickly. He removed a medium/large tree for us and came to do the job on a Saturday. He worked from 9 to 2:30 pm without taking breaks and did a great job completing our project! The tree was on the decline and starting to rot so it was necessary for us to remove it. He even ground out the stump for us as well and let us know what to do/expect afterwards. He also trimmed another large tree on our property. I would highly recommend his services as he was professional, courteous, and extremely timely in his communication and completing the project.
