I hired Chris to put up some baseboards and trim around windows and doors in my condo. He did a fantastic job, and kept to the estimate. He is very skilled and completes the work in a timely manner. I will recommend Chris to anyone that is looking for a craftsman with his outstanding expertise and abilities. Chris exceeded my expectations on every level.

Chris did a fantastic job removing our old deck and building a beautiful new one out of cedar. He is a skilled and careful craftsman and we couldn't be happier with it!

For five years my husband and I had envisioned our backyard deck, finally came time to act on it. I contacted Chris through home advisor and it was the best thing I ever did. We had no plans drawn up just ideas in our head. Chris was able to visually read our mind. We now have three new spaces to sit outside and enjoy our many different views. We hired Chris Penning to finish our basement which included framing, insulation, drywall, building a bar and closet, trim work and doors. We were probably the pickiest clients he's ever had but he somehow exceeded all of our expectations for quality workmanship and attention to detail. Christopher "Chris" Penning, was awesome! He came over and gave me a quote and stuck to his quote! He was there when he said he would, he very professional and a very hard worker. My deck was in bad shape Chris took the entire top off and replaced it with Cedar Decking and Composite rails. What a beautiful job. I would hire him again in a split second. Did a great job building the deck that I wanted. It is built well and at a price I could afford. He was great to work with and kept me up to date on the progress.

We received a very fast call once we put in the request for a quote. Chris was able to come out the same day to evaluate our project even right around a major holiday. He worked with us over the holiday weekend, through e-mail, to get a schedule set up and quotes sent. Out of all the contractors his quote was the lowest. We were extremely impressed with his work and clean up afterwards. Our basement was actually cleaner after he left. He did exactly what we asked him to do, it was perfect. We could not be happier with his work and speed in which he did it. We will be keeping his number on speed dial from now on.

Nothing but good things to say about Chris - completed project on time and on budget. Great to work with, very flexible and very good at keeping us up-to-date on status. Chris built our bar and cabinets from scratch and we have received many compliments. His woodworking skills are tremendous....
