Where do I start? I hired Nick (Cinbad Industries) to do two somewhat different masonry related jobs. The first was to increase the opening on existing outdoor kitchen island to accommodate a new barbecue. The second was to undo damage done by tree roots to an existing flagstone walk (over 5 inches vertical dislocation). On the second job, he was able to move an approximately 6' wide by 15' long segment of an existing flagstone walk in one piece, remove the offending roots, and replace the walk perfectly back to the correct grade. He pulled off this seemingly impossible feat mostly by himself with minimal help from me. Here's what sets Nick apart: He arrived at the agreed upon time every time, he communicated by phone the day before he was scheduled to come (this alone places him on a pedestal above most other contractors). He arrived with all the tools he needed to do the job. His work ethic is unbelievable - the flagstone project began at 8:30 AM on a Saturday and didn't end until well after dark around 7:00PM (fortunately I had a work light on a tripod to illuminate the final re-grouting of the flagstone). Both his skill-set and his depth of knowledge and experience are equally incredible (if it's masonry, Nick can do it). Other attributes: He's a meticulous craftsman and artisan, he's patient, does impeccable work (even perfectly color matching the new grout to the existing), and he cares greatly about the final outcome of his work. I give Nick my highest recommendation.

Nick is very pleasant and professional. What I thought was a small job ended up being a little more, he is knowledgeable in his trade, on time and did an exceptional job.

He returns calls, calls if he needs to change the date etc. Very communicative. Then he shows up on time.

Mr. Nick Abed responded quickly and provided an estimate for the entire project. He was able to meet the timeline identified and began work immediately. He and his crew removed existing concrete, formed and poured new concrete per the project plans. They performed professionally and did a thorough job.
