"Steve could have been more honest. Truth's left out. We have never met, he never chose to be a part of the process, His wife had called 1 year prior for us to look at, they then let the damaged floor sit for an additional full year before having work done, or they may have been getting other bids. Then the only material remaining for us to use was damaged on all the edges, yet the homeowner agreed to use as best as possible. The flooring had to be cut in place due to improper original installation, cutting outside was not an option where the flooring was against walls, (which you can not do on a laminate floor). The basement was full of dirt and mold including mold that was coming up through the existing flooring, The floor was left cleaner than we found it with the exception of light dust from shop vac. We actually repaired areas that were completly ruined by original install to try to buy the homeowner time before having to replace. We never caulked anything as well as told customer we do not offer any finish work such as trim work. Upon completion his wife who was very pleasant inspected the work, signed off on contract and thanked us for the work. Again as far as price, we never ever start a job before price is quoted and agreed upon, so I am not sure why Steve then chose to say he thought the price was high. Yes we did refund money because we genuinely care if someone is not 100% happy. We also offered to bring in a professional cleaning service. We then offered to return and help out in any manner possible. All of which Steve said no to. I truly believe if Steve were being honest, he was upset at his already damaged basement flooring knowing it needs replaced and was looking for that. We should have never taken the job due to the working conditions in basement, however that is on us. I trust that we tried our best to meet this customers needs and our reputation speaks for itself from our long list of existing reviews. Lenny/CFR"
"Thank you for your kind words. We did put this job on as an add on to an already busy day so we did work a bit fast, but to your credit the Carpet had just started wrinkling so it wasn't bad. As far as the price, that is just the minimum for Stretching carpet regardless of time. Every company has a minimum, some a lot more that ours. Sometimes it works against us, like when a room takes us a few hours, we don't charge any more. I am happy your job went as well as it did. Lenny/ CFR"
"Thanks for taking the time to review us Justin, Thanks for the 5 star rating on the Quality as well as the 5 star rating for Customer service. I can't do much better than that. Price was given 2 weeks prior and it sounds like your more surprised about how long it took than how good it turned out. I guess if it would have taken me longer but not turn out as good we would have been given all 5 stars. Doesn't make much sense. Just as an FYI, In this industry price is based on job, not time. The time is determined by how good the technician is or is not."
"We truly appreciate your time to review us Patricia, it would have been nice and more honest if you would have mentioned the fact that we had to fix a very bad installation from another company that no one was willing to take on, as well the fact that we returned to switch out padding at no charge that the same installers put in wrong. Again thanks for your review, it's just a bit mis-leading to future customers. I am very glad you said we did a great job though. Lenny/CFR"
"Thanks for your Review, we appreciate your time and 5 star Rating. For future customers however, Please note this customer along with everyone of our Clients receive an exact quote before any work is started. This customer did not mention a few things. 1. Supposedly I was actually cheaper than other Bids. 2. His 4 patch's were in 4 different rooms where he was going to have to Replace the Carpet, so he paid $62.50 per patch, vrs hundreds per room to Replace. and 3. He was extremely happy upon completion with how the patch work was only visible by the contrast of New vrs Old Carpet. I do wish he would have expressed his pricing issue before asking me to come out the very next day after we talked on the phone. It's like complaining about your dinner out at a quality restaurant after you completed your meal. Why people mention price after a job never makes sense, especially when you just saved them about $1000.00 dollars. But again thanks for the Review. Lenny/CFR"
