"Thank you for your business, and you kind words. It was a great job to do. We love working with Bose Surroundsound and Samsung tvs. They are both great. I hope you enjoy your new surroundsound system. It really has great full range sound. Thanks again."
"We were hired to come set up a soundbar. We did so , and the soundbar works perfectly. The tv was unable to output both analog and optical, so it was not possible - at least with the hardware they owned - to hook up both. I spoke to them prior to coming, and the scope of work was to get the soundbar working. I installed an optical cable and went into the tv settings and changed it from "tv speakers" to "audio out". When you use the optical audio out - at least on that tv, the headphone jack shuts down. In addition to the original task I also programmed the direc tv remote to control the soundbar. Install could not have gone any better. Travel alone exceeded 2 hrs, and told them this is why it was a 2 hr minimum. This was done in short notice, at night, and was exactly what they asked for. The headphone request came after it was all set up, and could not be done - as stated above. I suggested an optical splitter. They would also need a better set of headphones that take optical as an input. I can not warranty client hardware, and the headphones did not even appear to power on. Seems that the $ was the objection. I do jobs like that as a customer service. $150 is not a lot to get a knowlegeable person to your home. They were calling direc tv to get help with the remote, since they had no paperwork on how to program codes into it. By the time they got someone from direc tv on the line I had the remote all set up. Can not imagine a more perfect install."
"Firstly, I do not own a car. I came in a Dodge Caravan. Second, his system works perfectly - now that I have done some advanced networking.100% working, awesome system in every respect. Third, he knew my full name: (and my cards are double sided, full color) He had my name in numerous emails, and in my profile from Home advisor. He was also provided with Facebook links. So to suggest my name is not front and center is beyond the pail, much like every comment made. I take issue with each an every comment. The client asked me to come up and "experiment" with his house. He, like many consumers felt that I should buy all the goods, and bring them up, and see what worked. I was not agreeable to buying his requested hardware out of pocket. It simply does not work that way. I did offer, and he agreed, to sell him all the items for the "experiment", that he and I knew might not work. He wanted sonos in every corner of his home, and even outside. I suggested a LUXUL gigabit router. I have networked many homes and businesses covering spaces comparable to his. Sonos also makes a boost, and we ordered that also. The one device he say "did not work". The boost made no difference when we hooked it up. I told him that, and boxed it back up. To blame the installer for that is absurd. I saved him money. A less ethicial company might plug it in, and tell the customer that it helps boost the signal. This customer, without a doubt, would have a device plugged in and drawing power, that does nothing. The Luxul 1750 router blew the boost out of the water, as I had expected. The client now had strong wi-fi all over his house. I even streamed video outside on his deck. All of his Sonos devices - every single one - works perfectly. Located at the far extremes of his home, and even outside. He had a "power line" adapter I place, but not in an ideal location. I relocated it to a point in the home that was dead center of the areas he wanted to serve data and music. For anyone that knows about a power line adapter, they send data through the power in the home. You can not put it on a surge protector, and it is designed to plug directly into s socket. I did just that - in a central location. It could not go anywhere else, as there was not an "electric" plug. I did tell him that I do like to put the routers up higher. He would need to get a plug put in, or have a grounded extension cord run to a higher location in that room. It really is a MOOT POINT as the Luxul works perfectly at the present location. I like to TRY to educate and inform clients. I should not have said anything... OFFER TO CLIENT: I am so confident that this client has a great set up, only possible with a good networking installer, I will offer him $100 more vs what he paid for the Luxul. If he thinks there is anything out there in the market that will give him the same performance, he can take the purchase price, and $100 more - and go buy it. He will not take me up o"
"Rob, the installer on this job ran into traffic, and also did not know his way around. We will work on a gps to avoid being late. Glad that Linda was happy with the work he did - a bit behind schedule. Thank you!"
