We hired Francisco Rueda of Circle Diamond Builders LLC to rebuild our house after extensive fire damage. We?d been burned twice by other builders who ran off with our money, but he assured us that he was liquid and we paid him in draw schedules after the work was performed. Everything was great until December, when he wanted to abandon the draw schedule we?d agree upon and charge us at whim for segments not ever finished (stucco, drywall, closets, more) we did not agree with this change of contract and signed nothing, but like a thug he demanded the money or quit and slap a lien on us. The temporary housing we?re living now is coming to an end, so we ended up just paying from fear, until we added everything and saw we?d paid him 90% of the job, though there is no electricity, heat, water, kitchen, or bathrooms, so we?re very far away from a certificate of occupancy. The cherry on top is that they stole $1,900 of Kohler fixtures we bought with our own money and our house keys.

Not only is Francisco building our home during a pandemic, but also he has done it while we were stuck in our Arizona house for all but the last few weeks. He has kept in touch with us daily and has done everything in his power to facilitate our requests and time table. The quality of his team's work is superior. We have built 3 custom homes previously and renovated 4 others so we have a strong frame of reference for what it means to find a good contractor. We are in the "home" stretch of this project and can not wait to move into our beautiful and well built home. Thank you Francisco. We recommend him highly to anyone seeking quality work.

We are 6 months into Francisco building our home, and the experience has been great! Francisco is on top of everything, the work is all top-notch (and I am a woodworker - I know good work), and progressing rapidly. Francisco is great to work with, he calls at least every week to update us on the progress, and has great suggestions to make our home even nicer. He is been with us from the very beginning: evaluating the lot before we bought it, working out the plans (which we developed with his architect), and situating the home. Now the home is coming together and it is incredible, we love it more each day. If we were to do this again (which I do not anticipate) I would wait for Francisco to be available before we considered starting anything.

Working with Francisco has been a pleasure. He has handle the permit process for our new home which can be quite a challenge at times. He knew where to go and who to talk to. Francisco is on our project and speaks to me on a daily basics. He always answers my phone calls. Francisco works in a collaborative manner and has address all my concerns.

My home is completed and Francisco did a beautiful job. The home is incredible. I would highly recommend Francisco. The home is better than I imagined it could be. Francisco has met deadline, always remembered my requests, and built a home that anyone would be proud to own. I really made a smart decision when I hired Francisco to help me from conception to completion to build my Santa Fe home.

Our addition has just been completed and it is beautiful! We were working with another builder and were just so dissatisfied that I looked for someone else on this website. Francisco got back to me so fast I had barely had a chance to look at my options! Once I did, he was my choice. Our previous builder was so slow to respond and charged so much money up front for just drafting the plans. In addition much of the information they told us turned out to be incorrect. The process had dragged on for 3 months with nothing but plans to show for it. Francisco came in and within a week had gone to the city for initial approval with a whole new set of plans. He kept us in formed throughout the process and was always quick to repond to questions or concerns. His crew is a great bunch of guys that did excellent work. The addition was a stick built adobe style on slab, attached to an old adobe structure on peer and beam and the transitions are seamless. The floor is exactly the same height, the finishes are beatiful and so well done. The attention to detail is amazing, It is truly a beautiful addition and we just love it. We plan to do more remodeling in the future and will definitely be calling on Francisco and his crew again and again. Francisco Rueda and his crew were fabulous. I have a finished 4 level patio that is fit for a garden magazine. He was polite, honest, charming and a perfectionist. Lots of unforeseen issues like the complications of issuing permitsand the weather but Francisco stayed with us through the whole process. His knowledge of building materials and the trades to craft the work were extremely valuable. Francisco will always be at the top of my list for remodeling and new construction work....these guys are joy to work with!!!

From design, permitting, construction, and completion, we are very happy with the work done by Francisco and his crew. Not only were they professional in their work ethics, but they made considerable effort to keep us informed of their intentions, schedule, and work progress. The crew was always on-time, and put in a full days work; on occasion even working to dark to finish a critical task. The work site was always kept clean at the end of the day. Work quality was exceptional, as evidenced by the many favorable comments we have received from the neighbors, and even strangers. We also appreciate the fact that there was no "budget creep" as the project progressed. We will not hesitate to use Circle Diamond for future projects.

It has been a pleasure to work with Francisco and his crew. We appreciate the fact that design and permitting was all handled quickly and accurately by Francisco. Francisco's advice has proven invaluable in helping us make design decisions. I appreciate that we were continuously kept informed on construction progress, and were constantly solicited to make all those little design/construction decisions that are always a part of a remodeling effort. Francisco is rightfully proud of his work. Quality of work has been outstanding. Will definitely use him again, should we want something else done in the future.

Francisco has been a professional and has earned my business to build my new home in Santa Fe County. He clearly understands his busines.We have not yet broken ground, but he has gone to great lengths to meet with me according to my schedule since I don't yet live in Santa Fe. The house plans were made according to my requests to build the home I want. This is a rare characteristic for Santa Fe builders. The costs are according to my budget. He even met with me 3 times over the Labor day holiday, understanding I have to travel a long way and have a very tight work schedule. I'll update this review after the home is completed Gary E.

Fantastic work! Francisco is a man with outstanding qualities--honesty, integrity, intelligence, dependability. His team of workers exhibit those same qualities. They faced several challenges during the process of installing the new roof and overcame those challenges with true professionalism. I am truly blessed to have chosen Francisco to do the work. I will not hesitate to call him again should I ever need work done on my house.

Excellent job ! Fransico and his crew are great to work with. On time, hard working and keep you informed on the project. We had a new flat roof installed, home re-stuccoed, new gates built and other repairs done.Will hire them again for our inside projects.

Francisco and his crew have done a fabulous job with our home, bringing it back up to shape. My wife and I are extremely pleased. He installed new roofing, exterior stucco, paint and woodwork repair and staining. On the interior he repaired drywall, repainted all rooms and repaired tiles. We also had custom corbels made and installed. We had our driveway regraded and rocked, exterior landscaping upgraded and improved drainage installed. At each step of the way during this large project Francisco kept in regular contact with me and made several great suggestions which we incorporated into our project. His crew is very professional and friendly. They did a very good job of keeping the job site cleaned up at the end of every work day. As an absentee owner Francisco earned my complete trust. His eye for detail, follow through and dedication to seeing the job done right was outstanding. We would not hesitate to hire Francisco and his crew for any other additional projects.

Unexpected leak in the roof is not fun - thanks much to Francisco & his team for a very prompt help!

Francisco has been excellent to deal with. I am an absentee owner and he sends pictures and updates me as to progress on the roofing job. So far very pleased. The home also has some water damage to exterior stucco and interior drywall. Will hire Francisco to repair these issues also.

Francisco repaired our triple-ply torch-down flat roof, a category not listed on HomeAdvisor. We also had water damage on our drywall; drywall with lath and plaster. Again, not your typical repair job. His crew was on the job within 3 days and did an excellent job. His crew is polite, quiet and neat. Francisco is a perfectionist who is a good match for people who want a quality job. His pricing is reasonable and I highly recommend him.

Francisco is a master artist and pays attention to detail. He takes pride in his work. I have never meet anyone as professional and talented as Francisco. He has very high integrity and honest pricing. He is very trustworthy and I trust him with anything. He makes great decisions and provides excellent service. He uses quality materials and doesn't cut any corners. Extremely dependable and knows what needs to be done.
