I needed 7 exterior lights replaced, I called these guys - -they said they'd be out at a certain time/day - they called as they were on their way -- they were on time, did the job in an hour, were delightful to chat with, and their efficiency was much appreciated. Electrical fixture issue was easy and fast to diagnose but electrician had problem diagnosing bulbs. Service call lasted less than 15 minutes. The bill I received charged me for 1 hour + travel expense + Home Advisor fee. I live in Santa Fe and company is in Santa Fe. When City Different CONTACTED ME nothing was said if there was a minimum of service time or there would be a travel expense fee (and nothing is on the company's info page). I've used Home Advisor for 3 years and none of the professionals I've hired ever charged a fee for using Home Advisor. I called Home Advisor and asked about this practise and was told that Home Advisor does not advocate that a company should do this. City Different is a rip-off. I would never use them again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. The only reason that I rated them a half star is that the rating software does not allow for no stars, which is what City Different deserves!
