This is the best contractor that I have had in ten years. All of my friends told me not to do the project because of the problems they had had with their contractors. Well I went with my heart and proved them all wrong. Yeah! Now some of my freinds are using Citywide Construction for their projects.I would like to give special thanks to Rob and Darrell. They sure know their stuff. All of the employees were very professional. Thanks Citywide.

My Bathroom was in need of a total remodel everything from new pipes to my new shower curtin. and I only had a few weeks to do it in before my inlaws came to visit. I called Citywide they came and gave me a free estimate and they were lower then the other five contractors that gave me a bid.. I hired Citywide and they got right to work and they cleaned up after them selfs at the end of the day I never even knew they were there... My bathroom turned out BEAUTIFUL.. My family loved it. I have told all of our friends about Citywide Construction and they are going to use them. Citywide is our house hold name for Construction.

Citywide took this job over from another contractor who had created a living nightmare in my house. The employees and the owner of citywide turned this nightmare into an enjoyable experience. The quality of workmanship was impeccable. All of our neighbors and friends complemented us about the great work citywide had performed.

Although we were impressed by the foreman (basically a salesman) the subcontractors he used did not provide the quality we expected. Almost every facet of the job needed to be redone at some point. Because of poor workmanship and the corrections required the completion date went way beyond our expectations. We would not use them again.

This is the third time I have tried to submit this eval. We were burned by a contractor called Associated Construction and Development Inc. So when we began talking to Citywide's owner Rob Peeler were we already gun shy. Rob came in with a lot of energy and helped us to move on from a bad experience. In fact we are just now in the middle of the contract we signed with Citywide to redo and complete the work begun by the contractor we had to fire. Rob discussed our needs and was very helpful with advice and suggestions to limit costs. He porvided us with a clear and detailed estimate of the cost to finish the project, which included repairing the work done by the previous contractor. He made cost saving suggestions and had good ideas of how to cost effectivley accomplish what we needed to accomplish. He pleasantly provided us with quotes we need to use for the CSLB and other litigation we are resolving. He was asked to document the problems created and unresolved by the previous contractor and he has agreed to provide this information to us. Once we signed a contract we were given a time estimate which appears to be on schedule. His crews are quality contractors that are pleasant to work with, when a question or change comes up we have been pleasantly accomodated. The workers are comprehensive in the work they perform ensuring a quality job from the infrastructure to the parts you will see when the project is complete. Though the job is not complete at this time I feel comfortable advising you of the nature of our business together because CityWide has demonstrated integrity in the work they have performed so far. We encourage anyone planning to do home improvement or general construction to consider CityWide our experience has been a pleasant one, confirming the positive experiences by the references we contacted before signing the contract.

1/29/03 Citywide has abandoned my job. My job never passed city inspection and is now incomplete. i have had to go to another licensed contractor and pay MORE money to get my job finished so it will pass inspection. I'm done with them and your referral site. 1-13-03 It's a new year & Citywide Construction is still in my life, much to my chagrin. We have not been able to achieve the city inspector's final approval since November..... very little has been done to rectify this outcome by Citywide. I will never recommend them and I tend to speak negatively of them whenever I am asked by anyone who will listen. We have learned that most jobs are not worth hiring a "professional" contractor if you have the ability to learn and time (some of Citywide's worker's did not posess these qualities!). We hope to have Citywide out of our lives as soon as possible and finally, i have nothing else to say about them because I was taught that "if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all." 11-2-02 I do not believe this website actually publishes true comments from the clientelle. Where is the integrity in this industry??? Does it exist? Because after speaking with my city inspector, I was told it is not prevalent. Ultimately, my bathroom remodel that began in JULY was completed in October & looks nice, BUT we have not passed final city inspection yet.... I appreciate the work that is being done for me by Citywide (that I am paying for), but I cannot wait to have them out of my home. I will give a "final" evaluation when my job is officially closed.

They did a good job overall. Just to long for a bathroom remodel.
