James and Alex spent all day cutting out the old mortar and broken bricks then doing quality tick-pointing work to get the results looking like new. James fixed areas that I never saw. Against all the contractors I've hired, masonry or otherwise, James and his team provided the best outcome & experience I've had for the following reasons: - Didn't go overbudget. Went above and beyond, in fact - worked harder than asked to get the matching brick, for one, and even organized the leftovers for us at the end. Also, shared their takeout lunch with me since I was doing hot yard work along with them. - Punctuality & Timing: Then, after signing the proposal, found a window in his crew's busy schedule to come out and get the job done in a single day. They showed up on time and got the job done in less than 7 hours, including lunch, which is 3 hours earlier than expected. - Quality: Knowing I wanted to ensure the structural integrity of the house, first and foremost, James made sure to give me a chance to look at the wall at each stage to give the thumbs up. l can attest that he did everything up to code and with great care. Extra effort was put in for wall stability, as well as installing new home wrap, weeps, and flashing for water mitigation. They could have done what many other contractors do and show just the final brick wall, taking less time and opening themselves up to less amateur questions/nosiness, but instead he wanted to do right by us. - Experienced and talented team: Without my prompting during the estimate, James quickly identified all the major issues with our veneer that I'd worked so hard to identify over the previous weeks as a new homeowner. James did not hire amateur brick layers to help him on this job, such as the ones who probably did the original brick veneer on the house. Instead, we had two veterans, one of whom competes in the world brick laying competition in Vegas every year. - Listening & Empathy: This was not a vanity project. We urgently needed to replace an unstable veneer wall with exposed sheathing behind it and no mechanisms for moisture prevention. James came out to the estimate, listened to the concerns, and then provided excellent guidance on how to proceed in the proper way forward using his expertise. - Courtesy and Integrity: Every job is different, but I think we got a very fair shake from James and team on this job. They clearly responded genuinely to the needs of this job with integrity. At each step of the way, James was incredibly courteous and friendly, making this whole chaotic process much easier. No question - definitely hiring James and team to come back for the other veneer walls.

James came over to give me an estimate, from the moment I meet him and the way he answered my questions I knew I had chosen the right company. We owned a construction company for over 20 years but this was one trade I did not have any connections with. James was professional, very informative and a hard working man. He takes pride in his very specific field of work. He does quality and extremely thorough work. Not only did he have to tuck point one whole side of our chimney but he also went above and beyond tuck pointing the other three sides to perfection. What a pleasure and an honor to do business with such a fantastic company. We also have some building products coming up and I won't use anybody else but Clark Masonry! I can hardly believe my eyes when I look at the the brickwork James did on my house. It looks incredible!!!!! He matched the brick perfectly (I was amazed). You can not tell where he replace the brick. My house looks brand new. I look forward to seeing him at the end of October when he does the front of my house after windows are replaced. I am so pleased with the results I'm happy to recommend him to anyone who needs brickwork done and concrete repairs. Thanks so much James you and your coworker did a great job.

Needed a bunch of bricks replaced on an older house. They came in, matched the brick, got the job done in a timely fashion, delivered exactly what they promised.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned up. I think they overcharged a few hundred.

Nice guy. Flexible, accommodating, easy to work with, and he does a great job. Tuck pointed 2 chimneys on a steeply pitched roof and added a chimney cap to one of them. Results are first rate, and he and his crew did it all in about 3 hours. Highest recommendation.
