Clark's Construction

I hired Mr Clark to pour a new concrete parking pad for a car and to tear out and repour a section of sidewalk that had settled an inch lower than the surrounding walk. The parking pad is OK. some waviness On the surface but no pooling water. The sidewalk slab is bad. The new section still sits about ½ inch below the surrounding walk (the exact reason I wanted it fixed). In addition, the corners of the new piece slope down below the edges of the surrounding walk. This piece is going to have to be torn out again and redone. I contacted Mr Clark several times but he had not replied to my latest. I even offered to pay for materials if he would repour it. I made the mistake of paying before full inspection. Would NOT recommend.

He needs to communicate better.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU HIRE TRAVIS: This was by far the worst customer experience of my life. Hired him to pour a simple concrete parking pad. He rushed the pour the day he was supposed to be prepping the site (this comes in to play later), it rained, and it ended up having a terrible looking finish. This was a setback that although annoying was something that I could live with, as I knew I could work to improve the finish with a sander and sealer. When I got a chance to actually inspect the work in the light of day the true scope of the disaster was made clear. The pad had been poured almost a foot too high! It was absolutely useless!! When I reached out to Travis to see how we would rectify he had no workable solution, he had no idea how to pour a ramp, gave no discernible reason why he had failed to actually excavate and pour the pad at a usable height. I had an actual concrete pro come and look, and he confirmed that the pad must be removed and re poured. At this point I had $3500 invested in this disaster of a job. I reached out to Travis and asked him if he would please come and at least remove the pad at no additional cost to me (the cost to have the actual concrete pro remove the pad was $700). He never responded to me, would not answer my calls or my texts. So here I am, out $4200 and 10 hours of my time because I was foolish enough to trust this person to do a simple job. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH TRAVIS CLARK, HE IS AWFUL AT EVERY FACET OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!

Awesome customer service, showed up on time when he was finished the result was beautiful.
