im filing a police report as well I paid money for a house design and never received the design

TALKS A GREAT GAME, BUT DOES NOT DELIVER. HE DESIGNED ME A GTEAT HOME AND WAS HIRED AS MY BUILDER. HE STARTED STEALING MONEY AND DELAYING THE BUILD FROM DAY ONE. HE DELIBERATELY UNDERPAID THE PROJECT, AND THEN DID NOT PAY HIS SUBCONTRACTING. NOW I HAVE HALF A HOUSE BUILT, THREE LIENS ON THE HOUSE AND INSPECTION REPORTS THAT SAY DOORWAYS ARE NOT PLUMB OR LEVEL, ROOF IS OFF CENTER, TRUSSES ARE NOT ATTACHED RIGHT AND SO MUCH MORE. DO NOT HIRE AND IF YOU DID, FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR THE MONEY HE HAS STOLEN FROM YOU.

They patiently worked with us while we came up with the right design of our room.

It's very rare to find a company that does architecture, all engineering such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. They also do energy calculations and build. With everything all inclusive for design and build for my large home, you can't find anyone that will compete with price for the same level of service. I'm a General Contractor and Civil Engineer and I looked very hard for a company to meet all my expectations for my totally custom home. Dan is the main contact for Jaks and almost always answers the phone for me at all times of the day even after hours many times.

Runaway fast. Do not hire them. We hired them to do a project in our home, and they never finished. They left truckloads of construction debris. Large gaps around fixtures and bath fans. Horrible job on pretty much everything they touched. They were contracted to build a pergola on the front porch that they dug out the footers months ago and then abandoned it for another project. So much more wrong. Dan is a nice enough guy but definitely does not perform. We have got lots of pictures of the quality (or lack of) of the work that we would be happy to provide.

Dan and Company did a great analysis of 3 areas of structural concern for our home. I am confident now that I can take a column out, remove part of a wall and redesign a window without ruining our budget. I would hire them again and again.

I met the company s owner, Dan. He took the time to listen and understand what my vision was regarding this build. After telling him what I wanted to bring to reality, he educated me on the whole process and right away we were on the same page. His company performed the feasibility study for my land lot, got the report results in a timely manner right before I closed and away we went. Jak s Drafting is now in the process of building my home plans and Dan has been great through this whole process. I m looking forward to working with Dan towards accomplishing this dream build of mine.
