Classic Custom Pools/R&D or Richard Canova & Deborah Canova- Promised to complete the pool in 3 to 4 months, still not completed. Paid 98% of cost to learn that equipment is missing, the pool is not pebbled and unusable at this time. Retainer walls were not properly installed and failing due to lack of drainage, poor bonding, and zero corner blocks (we paid, Richard cut corners and did not supervise the installation). Mud sliding down to the pool level, not blocking materials behind the modular blocks, No drainage to let the water out. They did not put gravel in all of the modular blocks, causing movement.. Total lack of accountability and sub-standard work.. Tried to scam us with ghost bills. Disrespectful once the contract was signed! No customer focus nor respect from Richard. Deborah is rude and tried to bully us when we asked questions and attempted to nail down completion date. Tried to get us to sign a document saying the project was completed when it was not. Breached the contract and tried to threaten us to get paid before finishing the work. They simply want to collect checks. Don't ask for an itemized bill, you won't get it! Front loads payments which creates a cut and run opportunity for them! Don't fall for it! Don't fall for the 40 years of experience. You are as good as your work!! Richard misrepresents the truth, will tell you one thing and reneges the next day. Deborah is the scam artist, sends ghost bills.....one liners, thousands of dollars. We are aware of (2) lawsuits, it is not worth the trouble.

The work was substandard, double charged work, poor follow up communication, and poor clean up. Won't stand by their work.

I hired this company after a bad pool experience with Pool Professionals run by Charles Martin in Lawrenceville, GA. They had my pool green some of the fall and entire winter season. They blamed me for everything and did not assume responsibility. I called Classic Pool Service and their pool tech fixed everything and the pool turned clear within the week. My advice would be to use them and stay away from Pool Professionals. I found them to be dishonest and Classic Pool Service gives you a contract to sign and they deliver.

Richard and his remodeling team did a fantastic job on our pool remodel at a very good price. They did not ask for money up front but got started on the work right away and continued the project on our schedule since we were planning on being out of town in the middle of the project. I would definitely recommend Classic Custom Pools for anyone looking to remodel an in ground pool!

Richard did a great job. He repaired a broken valve, he sourced the parts and had us back operational within the day.

He is incredible professional and finished on time.
