Classic Hardwood Floors

Eric was efficient and professional. I lived in Boston at the time I was trying to replace carpeting with hardwood floors in a home in Edmonds. Eric communicated promptly to any questions and concerns and the floors are gorgeous!

I placed a call to Classic Hardwood floors and within a few minutes received a call from the owner to understand the scope of work, expectations and timing. Eric quickly scheduled a time to walk through and provide a proposal. When the project was to start he and his team arrived on time and did a great job, our floors never looked better! We did have on spot on a threshold that had some residual stain and finish left on after they completed the work. A quick call and it was corrected in just a few minutes. Classic Hardwood Floors does what they say. Good to their word. They cared for the house beyond just the floors.

The flooring work was great. I had them install tile and the workmanship was not as good. Some tiles were crooked and one was broken, but installed anyway. It was dropped by the installer.

Did a fabulous job refinishing all of our existing hardwoods and adding in new hardwoods to dining room and kitchen. All looks brand new and you can't see where the old and new blend together. Would hire this company again in a heart beat.

In our case, the owners did not do the job. They did do an excellent job of cleaning up the damaged portion of the floor but the final coat was not evenly applied with obvious visual flaws when it dried. To his credit, Eric, the owner, did not argue but came over two days later and reapplied the final coat. the floor looks good now, not as good as the original install but perhaps I was expecting too much. The crew originally sent out were courteous and professional. On the last day they were sick and maybe in a bit of a hurry. They also could have done a little better job on the caulking the molding if they had been in less a hurry. The floor is a definite improvement but I still wouldn't recommend them unless Eric was doing the job.

They only come for1-2hrs then scheduler moves them to next job. What should have been a 3 day job is turning into about a month. In the meantime I am living in kaos.

Managed to squeeze me in on very short notice and worked the weekend to make sure the job was done on time.

The salesman was very helpful. The installers inflicted minor damage on my cabinets and door whih the salesman tried to repair. The fumes killed all my aquarium fish.

Scott stuck to his schedule and worked very hard to finish within the time available. The floors are so very lovely - the only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is because I don 't know yet how well the floors will wear - but I certainly do love the look! There were no problems.

A great group to worke with. Floors were refinished and look terrific. There were several stain "slops" on walls and baseboards, but they came right out and cleaned it up. Very responsive...quality workmanship!!

Mario did an super nice job. floors look great. he is very professional. took the time to give us detailed directions on how to clean the floor while it fully cured. what to do, what not to. experienced, on time, great job
