BEWARE! Our experience with Clay's Moving Company was extremely disappointing. The crew damaged multiple pieces of expensive furniture, caused significant damage to our hardwood floors, and appeared to be inadequately trained. They arrived without many of the basic moving supplies they were contracted to provide and even refused to use moving blankets to protect our furniture. One of our dressers was dropped off the truck and shattered in the parking lot. They also pushed our custom-built pantry across our patio without any protection, damaging the pantry and leaving paint scraped across the patio surface. In addition, they left extensive scratches and damage throughout our hardwood floors. If you value your home and belongings, I strongly recommend choosing another moving company.

I needed a couch, love seat and my garage cleaned when I moved. They came loaded up in an hour and left the place spotless! Great service.

They helped me move when I first moved down to the Atlanta area. The whole process was smooth and they were professional and amazing.

Overall: Unprofessional with poor communication. Pros: The move was completed, and the two movers who showed up were kind and respectful. Cons: Pricing was misleading. The hourly rate advertised on Thumbtack changes depending on the number of movers, but this wasn’t stated on their page. They arrived late with no notice. I had to reach out, and then was told they’d be short one mover. The job started 30 minutes late. Truck size was smaller than advertised (20’ U-Haul instead of 26’). "Provided packing supplies for kitchen" was a few boxes Movers arrived without basic tools (no pliers, screwdriver, etc.), despite being shown what needed to be moved. i.e. washer and dryer They damaged my dryer knob and didn’t inform me—just left it off to the side. After the move started, I was told I would need to pay full balance at the halfway point which was not stated upfront or in the contract. I had to remind them to take items that were clearly discussed beforehand (like the TV). Was told after the move started that they usually don't move exercise (my spin bike) equipment and wasn’t covered under their policy—this was not in the contract but it was nonetheless moved as a "one time courtesy for me" I’ve moved over 20 times and have never experienced this level of disorganization and lack of transparency.
