Do not hire this guy! He is a crook. He took over 8 grand from us for a deposit. He ripped up the old patio and trashed my yard. Then he told us he couldnt complete the job.! He took off. Then we found out he does this all over the place. He changes zip codes so the police can't track him. Then he changes the name of his company. He is a criminal. Stay away

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Paid deposit of $875 on 7/1/22 to install pavers along the driveway. Brandon never started the job! When it was obvious he was lying to us regarding the status of the job, I asked him for a refund because I knew he was not going to follow through. He does not respond to texts or answer the phone. Has 3 company names (premier concrete solution premier outdoor living and Outdoor digs). He is no longer on Home Advisor (Angies List). PLEASE DO NOT HIRE! This has been a horrendous experience. Out $875 and now I have to get another contractor as this contractor is not trustworthy and will take your money and run!!!

Do not hire this company. We paid them to install a spa and do a concrete patio, and the work was horrendous. The concrete patio looked like my 5-year-old built it. After several reschedules and not showing up to finish the job, we canceled and demanded our refund, which was never provided.

Outdoor Digs, Brandon is the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I hired them for a pool deck demo and install new concrete in May 2021. They showed up in June and demolished half of the concrete deck and left the debris on my lawn for over a month. Brandon is full of apologies and excuse. He'll promise you someone is going to come out and complete the job but they never show up. Outdoor Digs prolonged the project for four months. they did a horrible job destroyed my yard. They are not an honorable company to do business with. It'll cost you more because you'll have to repair the mess that Outdoor Digs creates. I would not recommend Outdoor Digs they don't show up.

Brandon and his team do very high guality work. Good communication throughout the project. Fair price. Took care of everything including clean up. I highly recommend!

They came out and measured my fence, gave me a verbal quote, and said he would go back to the office and write it up, I never heard from them, will not answer or return any phone calls.

Very friendly, great attitude a pleasure to work with. Very professional. Excellent work, very poor follow-up. Did not follow up as promised. The people who did the work were very nice again it was the follow-up that was the issue. Pushed to get a good review immediately after job completion.

We were very happy with the assessment of our problem and the contract that followed. The work was completed sooner then estimated and men were very neat and cleaned up at the end of the day . The patio was replaced perfectly with drains We havenâ t had any rain to test the fix but we r confident that the water problem is fixed I highly recommend them

Great experience working with Outdoor Digs! They left behind nothing but memorable moments, also seeing our dream backyard patio be built Working from home and witnessing first hand the project develop was an amazing experience.. they however took a little longer to finish due to material delay (not there fault) but could have been anticipated a little better we think. However, seeing the determination to finish from Brandon and his team and they calling to update us constantly on delayed material was good.. thanks again to the whole team for an amazing patio and landscaping.

Brandon and his team did a great job on my drainage project near my home basement. The whole staff are all very knowledgeable and easy to work with, we were getting stormwater in the basement haven't seen any since July! thanks again! his team likes to start work early, 7 am sharp so make sure you let your neighbors know!

I would give less than 1 STAR if it was an option. I hired Federico Alvarez Landscaping, who sub-contracted to Brandon Castillo (AKA - Castillo Landscaping or Outdoor Digs, Newark DE). We thought Brandon was his project supervisor. They never showed up the first day of the job, even though it was confirmed the evening before. Then when we called to find out where they were, we were told everyone was exposed to COVID-19, yet we had to call them, they never called us to explain they would not be there to start the job, seems odd that they did not know the night before. The job started 6 days late. The job was supposed to take 3 days but took 6 days. Brandon Castillo has no clue what constitutes a full day of work. I do not care that it took 6 days, but do not complain that your guys get paid salary and it was a 6-day job when the only reason it took 6 days was due to ineffective communication, poor organization, and late starts with early departures. Brandon did not honor the contract. The entire time he was here, he was trying to find out what we were paying Christian Alvarez, this is how I found out my job was just subbed to another company. Brandon constantly said he does not do work for free. He claims he never saw the contract, but he was brought by and shown the scope of the job, provided video of the worst-case scenario (hurricane Sandy footage) with our yard and driveway flooding. He did not put in the size catch basin indicated in the contract. He put one pipe in and was supposed to put in two. He did not wrap the pipe in fabric and 57 clean stone as indicated on the contract. He did not sink the basin in the ground enough but said it was fine since the water drained in the side hole from the French drain trench. We were hit with a storm before the project finished and they had to add another basin since the one they put in was not big enough, he was supposed to put in 2 more but only added one more catch basin. He connected the second basin to the first basin, using the hole that the water from the French drain was supposed to flow through. Since the catch basin is not flush with the surface and he used the inflow to connect to the other basin, the water does not drain in that basin now. He also used a catch basin as the outlet for water, so water sits and gets stagnant and breeds insects. He originally used a pop up at the outlet and it popped right off with the first storm. He skimmed my yard the night before hurricane Isaias, exposing the opening below my deck along the length of the deck and leaving soil loose, this caused my basement to flood. We were trying to resolve water flooding my driveway, but my home has never flooded. He did not want to acknowledge that their negligence caused water to pour into my basement under the deck. If this was not bad enough, he broke the sidewalk driving on it with the tractor and left us with deep tractor treads across the grass at the sidewalk, up my front lawn, up the length of my side yard and through the yard, he then seeded right over this and tried to say the tractor treads were for drainage. My yard looks like someone drove donuts in the mud. He seeded over fill dirt full of rock, never put in screened topsoil. We offer for Christian to finish the job, but he complained that he has to pay Brandon and he was not making anything on the job. This is because he originally offered to finish the grading, repair the sidewalk, and seed, and deduct $2000 off the balance owed due to damages. Which we accepted as long as his crew does the work, we did not want Brandon back. Christian then said he only offered 1700.00 off and he was not going to make any money. Not my problem!

I would recommend Brandon and Outdoor Digs, without hesitation. He came to my rescue when I started a sidewalk and walkway project with another contractor who did a terrible job and I had to fire. Brandon could see all the problems and was able to advise me on the best way forward. He and his team did a beautiful job from start to finish. I m really looking forward to working with Brandon on my patio and fire pit project in the fall. You won t be sorry if you work with Brandon and Outdoor Digs,.

I hired Brandon and team to help me out in installing Vinly fencing for my backyard, I was impressed during my first quote meeting with Brandon, he was crystal clear with the ask, very professional and one of “the best” contracting company. The fences came out beautifully and my kids are awaiting for some sunshine to go out and play in my “private fenced backyard” :). I would highly recommend them for any fence work you are looking for, nobody could beat them in terms of cost, work and professionalism. Thank you Brandon and Team!

The worked on my house for four months , they where on time, consistent, and recommend them very highly. No matter what the weather is they show up.
